Forgot to say - I mentioned to my OH this morning about perinial massage.
He said he was worried it would make him a bit randy and he would want to DTD. I said what I have learnt from you lot is it's the most un-erotic thing ever. :rotfl:

It definitely is, especially if he ends up with the white goop all over his hands... :D

I'm having a bad day. 2 restless nights, so tired and in lots of pain today.

Had my 36 wk appointment and baby is 2/5th engaged. I hope this explains the extra pelvic pain I've been getting.

On the bright side my libido came back with a vengeance :o DTD for the first time since conception :o Hubby was one very happy man yesterday. Might be another reason why I'm in so much pain today though :o

Going to have a nap now (midwife told me not to feel guilty and nap and rest when I need it).

Poor you with the pain :( I had my appt yesterday, midwife didn't mention anything about how engaged he was and I forgot to ask, booooo. I can feel my libido coming back as well, think hubby will be lucky this weekend - well I did tell him come 37 weeks I'll be pouncing - we're the same as you, haven't DTD since conception, I've been too concerned something will go wrong (plus have been exhausted!)

  • Welcome BCS - (I saw your posts over on the other thread and I think we are the same age ;))

Hope everyone enjoyed christmas and new year festivities.

I am @ 15 weeks and heard the babies heartbeat for the first time today in the consultants office which was great.:)
On the downside still having on and off bleeding which is a nuisance as I am O negative and have to keep having anti d top up injections - what with that and the flu jab I feel like a pin cushion!

Feel a bit sheepish with all the talk of frustration over the raspberry leaf tea and perineal massage as I have elected to cheat again with another c section so should have a delivery date at my next appointment next month I am hoping. :o

Hi, so were both 21 then? ;) :rotfl:

Wow, I can't wait to hear my babies heartbeat so I know he's ok.

Sorry to hear your having problems. :(

Fingers crossed everything calms down & you start to feel better soon.

Krystal - will be a fun weekend getting everything out :)
An eventful morning for you this morning! Hope the postman brought something worth the wake up call and you are having a more relaxing day now!
Only a letter from SE telling me that they owe me a fiver from my electric account and it'll be put in my bank this week... That's the first time I've changed energy supplier and they've not sent me a massive bill... I'm getting £133 back for the gas!!!

I'm randomly unexcited about fetching the baby clothes out... Only seems 5mins since I put them in there lol... Still, I had the forethought to save the two little drawers in the girls bedrooms for baby clothes so I don't need to lose my knicker drawer again... :rotfl:

Oh, and my Mum bought me this the other day... I did have a moses basket but leant it to my step sister and it has never come back... And I was a little afraid of what state it would be in if it ever did... I mentioned my concerns to my Mum and she found this one on eBay, emailed the bloke and asked if he'd take £20 cash on collection and it'll be mine on Saturday! Hopefully it'll fit nicely inside the baby prison...

I absolutely agree with your midwife!!

And I shall let D know that there's some hope... He told me he was missing the wife that put out regularly the other day lol...

Congratulations Princess! :D:D I love the name Eloise... It's been veto'd here though.. :(

Stymied, that's a great price for Tots Bots! Don't just limit yourself to motherease though... The best part of a 2 part nappy system is treating yourself to pretty wraps ;)

GB, a cs isn't cheating... It's just a different way to get the baby here :)

Welcome BCS! How do the older 3 feel about the new arrival?

    Thanks Krystaltips. :A

Suprisingly they are really excited, my daughter says that she only wants a sister though as she already has too many brothers. :rotfl:

Congrats Little Princess and welcome BCS. :)

I think I'm having a paranoid mummy-to-be moment... I'm worried I'm not feeling her kick and move as much. I keep telling myself she's probably just spine up again and I'm now much more active and less likely to feel it, coupled with the anterior placenta and only being 18+3, but it's not really working. So am I worried over nothing?

On a happier note, my mum ordered a moses basket for us last night. Lola's Garden one, very pretty. One from Next is going back, was just a bit too plain for me.

Garnet - I could write your post.

    I am 21weeks tomorrow.
I felt her firstly last week and now barely feeling her at all. My placentas fine if you catch my drift. I am just hoping she is kicking spine ways lol.

I was so excited to feel something and now its gone its so sad :(.

Baring in mind was excited about them getting stronger so hubby might actually feel them. But sadly they have disappeared before he had a chance.

crossy fingers for them to come back stronger. xx

  • Hello Ladies and Bumps. Well I am back and on the road to recovery again. After feeling so awful over the weekend, I retreated down to my dad's to get some well deserved sympathy and someone to look after me.lol. I love my dad so much he has been such a star the past couple of days, and he didnt want me to leave.lol, was enjoying looking after me. Good news tho is that my pram had been delivered to my dads so yesterday we got it out of the boxes and all set up, cant believe in 6 or so weeks, I will have a baby inside it.:)
DH has finally booked his flight home and he will be back on the 11th February (4 days before EDD), so hopefully can keep my legs crossed until then hehe.
Had my midwife appointment today, and everything seems fine, but she doesnt seem to give very much away. I mentioned the paid I was having in my right side and she said well "thats becoz the babies legs are there" Well so sorry I wasnt briefed on where my baby was lying.lol.
Came home full of good intentions to gut the house today, but managed to get the Kitchen and a little bit of the living room done and then flaked out on the couch and woke up about 15 mins ago.

Still looking at Nursery furniture and I am thinking that maybe I dont need the full set that I was looking at. What exactly are you ladies planning on having in your nursery? The room we have isnt that big and I dont really want to go out and spend money on a full set (cotbed, wardrobe & Drawers) that is going to look really cramped. Some advise would be much appreciated.

Congrats to Princess and welcome to newbies.

BCS, funnily enough, DD1 wants a boy this time because she's already got 1 sister lol...

Garnett, there's loads of reasons that you might not feel as many kicks... Try sitting with a cold drink and really concentrating for half an hour... If you're still worried after that then give the midwife a ring :)

I worry that mine never seems to stop moving... I have an 18m old that doesn't stop moving... I was hoping for a slightly more sedate one this time...
