  • I'm 13 weeks + 1 or at least we think I am until I get my scan.
I already have 3 kids, 2 boys aged 16 & 14, 1 girl aged 12 so finding myself pregnant again was a bit of a shock but great news. :)

    Huge congratulations!

little princess she is gorgeous, and I teach a lovely girl called Eloise.

bargain princess I annoy people a lot by saying labour and birth don't hurt, I'm exaggerating, but I have never felt in unmanageable pain, its easier than a burn for example. Worry won't help and it is most probably not necessary.
Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x

Anyone else had their bags packed this early??
I had mine packed 90% at that point. I'm glad I did because there are some days you just can't be bothered/feeling rough/tired/mind not with it to get these things done later on.

@little princess - congratulations on baby Eloise :j

I'm having a bad day. 2 restless nights, so tired and in lots of pain today.

Had my 36 wk appointment and baby is 2/5th engaged. I hope this explains the extra pelvic pain I've been getting.

On the bright side my libido came back with a vengeance :o DTD for the first time since conception :o Hubby was one very happy man yesterday. Might be another reason why I'm in so much pain today though :o

Going to have a nap now (midwife told me not to feel guilty and nap and rest when I need it).

Nosing again and see you're talking about packing bags - my friend just gave birth to twins (about an hour ago) she was 30 weeks exactly today - both babies seem fine at the moment but it's never too early to get those bags packed - she had no signs of labour until early this morning.

am bored of having to make 2 cups of RLT a day and it's going to get worse next week, so have just dug out a pretty teapot purchased for my baby shower (yes, from the charity shop!) and have made my two cups in that. Can just drink from it for the rest of the day now :)

I'm just bored of drinking it - need to up it to 3 or 4 cups a day now, but its such a chore to drink it.
We Made-it-3 on 28/01/11 with birth of our gorgeous DD.

Welcome BCS - when you know your due date be sure to let us know and we can add you to the list!

I feel like a proper lady - am bored of having to make 2 cups of RLT a day and it's going to get worse next week, so have just dug out a pretty teapot purchased for my baby shower (yes, from the charity shop!) and have made my two cups in that. Can just drink from it for the rest of the day now :)

    Thanks lilian.

My edd is 13/7 but I havent got my scan until 4/2 so won't know the actual date until then.

  • Welcome BCS - (I saw your posts over on the other thread and I think we are the same age ;))

Hope everyone enjoyed christmas and new year festivities.

I am @ 15 weeks and heard the babies heartbeat for the first time today in the consultants office which was great.:)
On the downside still having on and off bleeding which is a nuisance as I am O negative and have to keep having anti d top up injections - what with that and the flu jab I feel like a pin cushion!

Feel a bit sheepish with all the talk of frustration over the raspberry leaf tea and perineal massage as I have elected to cheat again with another c section so should have a delivery date at my next appointment next month I am hoping. :o

Hi, I've just bought some Totsbots Fluffles for £3 each on the nappy lady website. They are in the clearance section, but I'm not sure if they're end of line or ex-demo. Going on prices that new nappies are selling for on ebay (I've been trying to buy some for a few weeks) this seems pretty good, although few extras did fall into my basket so it didn't end up so cheap ...

If anyone comes across cheap Mothersease wraps (new or second hand) please can they let me know and I'll be all set :-) Well for nappies anyway - I'm 20 weeks and have just started nesting :-)
