Ooh I feel like royalty today. Just called the GP for an emergency appt to be told that there aren't any with my GP and I can only see the nurse. Fine I said if she can do prescriptions. As soon as I say I'm pregnant, apparently I can't see the nurse and an appt magically appears with the GP!!!! Appt is in just over an hour so better get a wriggle on.

Hope you are all well xxx

Morning, im still haveing mad dreams. they are so vivid they are affecting my mood when I wake up. And they are still really dirty :o:o last night was about my ex who i split with in 1998!! I have no idea why he popped into my brain as I havnt really thought about him recently. The thing was it was nice to 'see' him if you know what I mean (not in a rude way)
Bu now im up I have this feeling that it actually happened. All very bizarre.

Why when I should be packing for the move do I want to go Christmas shopping while I have a little cash? I packed 3 boxes yesterday and thats all so far, I move in 13 days! we are getting the company to the packing as im on my own with small kids etc, but I still feel I need to pack,if I get my finger out, it will be all done by the time they come to do it :rotfl:

LOL does that mean you are waking up in a good mood ;)

I've not had one of those for a couple of weeks but my ex was in my last one too, and he is a complete $*£! head so don't know why, felt really guilty about it :o The time before was with my boss, he is really nice and pretty good looking but not my cup of tea. Facing him the next day I just about died I kept thinking "oh he knows what I was dreaming about last night! :o:D

13 days eek not long, you'll get there!

Morning everyone. Just got a text that my BF's brother & wife had their baby this morning. They were at the same anti-natal classes we went to. They had extra growth scans and were told the baby wasn't growing well and was very small and lo and behold, the baby was 7 lb 10 oz! They also called the baby my favourite boys name that I was trying to talk my DH round to, but as they also have the same surname as us, is now def out. How can I be overdue and not have picked names yet!
  • omg...23 pages to catch up on after last weeks drama!

    Morning all.
Congrats to all the new arrivals.

29 weeks today...can't believe how fast the time is going now. Only 5 weeks left to work ...must get organised.

Also I've agreed to have both my family and DHs family round to us for Christmas dinner (8 adults + 3 kids). Madness I know esp as I'm working until Christmas Eve but DH has assured me that I just need to put my feet up and enjoy...he will do all the shopping, decorating, cooking, cleaning, entertaining etc :D.

Got my HIP grant last week which is great but by car exhaust gave out on Friday which cost £260 to replace :(. Bl00dy typical!

Notice a few of you ladies round about my stage have packed hospital bags already. Might make a start on it this weekend. Makes it all seem very real though :o.

I have a follow up pregnancy risk assessment with occupational health later today. Going to try and negotiate a temporary car parking space. At the moment I drive 25 miles e/w to work then have to walk a mile e/w to the office. Most days it's fine but my pelvis is starting to ache and I'm worried about the icy weather. An extra 20 mins in bed wouln't go a miss either :p.

Hugs/labour vibes to those in need.

p.S don't forget those pelvic floor exercises ladies...and clench and release and.....................

    Monring ladies

Sorry to hear you are suffering Sammy and Fanta - Sammy I noticed some white crusty stuff on my right b00b last night so looks like I'm not far behind you. :o

I feel rubbish today - full of a head cold and didn't sleep at all well. Have an important meeting this morning but think I'm going to sick off after that and try and get a sleep this afternoon, feel like I'm going to fall over every time I move.

Bad news about the car Claire - they are so expensive to run aren't they? I can't wait to get my grant, really should use it to pay off the remainder of my credit card but not sure how OH will feel about that.

Who was asking about paternity leave? My OH won't ask his boss either! It is all very shifty at his place, lots of cash in hand that sort of thing. I said he should get 2 weeks and it would be good if he could have a week when the baby is born and a week a few weeks after when the visitors stop and we can have a bit of family time but his colleague wasn't allowed any paternity leave and had to take holidays so OH is too afraid to ask. I'm thinking about getting on the bl00dy phone myself and telling his boss that he IS having the time off. It's the law!

Is anyone else worrying about money?
I don't earn enough as it is and when I mentioned to OH the other day that I may need him to cover my share of the bills while I'm on mat leave his eyes nearly fell out of his head. I can't work out properly how much I'll be getting but if I'm skint now it'll be even worse then, think I'll tell OH that he can take a few months off work to bring the baby up and I'll keep working, but I'm worried he'd actually take me up on it :o

sorry for the waffle, not sure where that came from, I'll go back to feeling sorry for myself.
  • Congrats Plymouth - xxx
  • purple just rest love, plenty of time for other stuff later.

Queen Sammy are you going to spend obscene amounts on a royal wedding while we all get pay cuts?
