Hi ladies and congrats to spaghetti.
My EDD is 21/4 and I am finishing for my maternity leave on 01/04. However I have 2 weeks holidays booked prior to this so actually finish on 18/3.
Hope everyone is okBaby Ice arrived 17th April 2011. Tired.com! :j0 -
It can definately be different to the BM dresses, but it would be good if we could link them in somehow. I have problems finding regular maternity dresses in actual shops, only online seems to have any options, so Lord knows what I'll find for evening wear in a specific colour!
Linking them in could be quite easy, same shoes, sash, corsage etc? Just had a quick look and these might give some inspiration(depending on budget etc)

I struggled to find anything for hubbys work do as it had to be longer than knee length, in the end New Look had a gorgeous off the shoulder dress, non maternity but a size up (and very forgiving stretchy material!) but I would have only been 24 weeks when I wore that (but do feel that bump is massive!) are you one of these lucky people that could get away with non maternity at 33 weeks? (I definitely wont be!)

I have 34 working days left and a huge shedload of things to sort out. Hoping ofsted will have the manners to wait until I have gone before they descend on us!!
krystal get well soon. Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0 -
If OFSTED send you the letter then see if you can go off early on the sick! I have the same potential problem, and I really don't think I could mentally withstand an inspection from ESTYN now.
Thanks for the replies re the matron of honour dress ladies - you're certainly quick off the mark!Am not witty enough to put something cool and informative here:o0 -

Thanks for all the congrats!
The next job is to convince OH we can get a car - he doesn't really want one. I was all up for trying our local greenwheels scheme but you need to have you license for a year before you can use it and I really want to start driving by myself!
I'm now sort of on maternity leave (I'm freelance and have a couple of small projects) but am very afraid of boredom....
I started to take the plunge yesterday and ordered loads of baby stuff online...well it felt like loads but I think it's just the start..

I'll be awaiting my package tomorrow!0 -
Oh my lord, gratefulforhelp, I could. I don't take time off easily, but an inspection is a strain at the best of times. I think it's a genuine health issue! But each to their own, pray for no nasty envelope!!!Am not witty enough to put something cool and informative here:o0

Good afternoon Ladies and bumps!
Last day off work today, although I suspect I wont be going in tomorrow as my flu is still hanging around, although it feels more like a cold now as it is going away... but I cant see me being well enough for work tomorrow. Shame... as I have so much that needs doing before I go on maternity leave. Worked out that at the VERY most I have 39 days left at work until ML.
For all you working expectant mums on here, when are you starting your maternity leave in relation to your due date? I am due on 25/2 and that is also set as my last working day. I will be taking 9 months ML and would like to work as late as poss, but I suspect I wont make it to the very end.. think I was a bit optimistic when I sent the paperwork off tbh.
Find it quite scary now looking at the list... I dont need to scroll down to see my name anymore. Anyone else think time is going very quickly?!?! I suddenly feel so unorganised.
Hope you are all well
J
I am deu the 30th March and that is also my last day .. although am planning 3 weeks holiday before hand!) .... Could you not take a few holidays?
I will be debt free by 2016 :T

New Look had a red Maxi dress in the sale £14.99 I think?????
I never thought of looking at the Nails Inc website for inspiration, thanks :embarasse
I haven't confirmed at work when I'm starting ML!!! My boss has been pretty flexible, he wants me there as long as possible and back as soon as possible...
I'm hoping to finish December month end and work until 28th Jan (due date 9th feb) although OH thinks i'll have bump early and i'm being rather optimistic. I've got mw tomorrow too, not looking forward to that as i've prolly to have my bloods done again  but can hopefully get my birth plan and home birth sorted out....Challenges - repay all credit cards by end of 2015Starting the savings for retirement :rotfl:

Hi all - I've got a wedding at the end of February and I'll be 33 weeks pregnant. I'm matron of honour, and if possible the bride would like me to match with the bridesmaids. They're wearing a rich ruby red. I've some choices (though lots of differing websites have the same dresses on them), but now I'm wondering - does anyone have any experience hiring dresses on the internet? If I do that it might cost less and get me a much nicer dress...
Just a quick note, I was married on 22nd dec and was 30 weeks. I am not a normal size I am 5ft8 a size 24 but only B cup boobs so dont fit dresses at the best of times let alone when pregnant. I had my dress custom made by one of those ebay sites in china. This is the dress I ordered, and this is how it looked. Now I know I am not the greatest model but I was very impressed with the dress and would happily use them again.DS1 arrived 22/02/11! 8lb3oz
