Been feeling quite cwappy today. Went out for dinner with Hubby for our 2nd anniversary last night and before dinner was done it wasn't agreeing with me spent half the night on the toilet then woke up this morning and decided there was no way I could go into work as we had no water in work yesterday. Phoned and one of the managers told me to stay at home......thankfully our water at home is back on although we did loose it for some time day after Boxing Day...this water crisis here is really annoying although there's no work tomorrow as the department is closed as it still has no water going into it and its a health and safety risk

Just spent half an hour catching up to forget what everyone was posting about lol

We got our nursery set the other day, well we paid a friend for a second hand one that he had never used with either of his babies (not sure why you would buy a nursery set and not use it but it's done now and he will deliver it when he gets the word that I have had bubs (he's the superstitious type lol)....have stopped calling him the alien quite so much now as he does look like a baby when I see him lol.........also paid a lot more off the pram that we have on the babyplan in mothercare so next month will pay the last of it then it will just be a case of changing the delivery address to MILs as they will deliver 10 days before my due date. I have this awful fear I am not going to get to my due date and it's freaking me out....am 31 weeks tomorrow :eek::eek::eek:

KittyKate - I have been told babies in the womb can count

SJP - having anaemia shouldn't rule out home birth - homebirth.org is a good site for support.

I think twoflower was on here a week or so ago, seemed to be doing well, but can't imagine Christmas has been easy for her.

Cried three times today, OH has suddenly told me loads of stuff about how selfish he thinks I am being and excluding his family from baby planning decisions, for not wanting them to come and stay with us to help afterwards, not involving them in choosing the name, respecting their traditions etc etc. I know he always plays pig-in-the-middle but none of this is very helpful at this stage.

Mi3, ((hugs )) hun. I think you and your OH need to have a sit down and discuss all this stuff calmly. He is the father and does get a say, of course, but ultimately, you are having the baby and as long as you and him are happy with what you are doing his family should respect yours (and his) choice of who you do and don't want there, names etc.

ETA, One thing I do with my mum (who is very opinionated!) is listen to what she has said and say something like thank you for your opinion but we/I have decided XYZ for our child and we are happy with that.

It kinds of politely tells her to shut up! lol
