Any remedies for mouth ulcers before I cut OH's head off? He is seriously doing my head in, I know it's not nice but what is it with all the huffing and puffing that comes with it? Sorry for the rant, I'm trying to be the understanding spouse!!

I've had some painful BH this afternoon/evening which were making my back really ache, I've had a bath and some paracetamol and they have gone off luckily, just as I was thinking about phoning the hospital. Feels like baby has dropped because I now feel ravenously hungry, first time in weeks that I've had any appetite so he must be off my stomach for once so I'd better go and stuff my face before he decides to move again!

Baby has been soooo active today, constant kicks, wiggles and turns. He even jumped a little when Lily done a quite loud cry

Wow I've been gone for like 10 hours and there are 3 birth announcements....

Ejecoms - Congratulations. Sorry about the placenta thing - the same thing happened to someone I know - they went through the whole birth just gas and air and then had to have the spinal to remove the placenta. Out of interest, did you have the injection for the placenta to come out quick?

With regards to I am Legend, I made OH turn it off before the dog. I really didn't need to see that again. Then I had nightmares all night about the stupid film.

We got Shutter Island on LoveFilm and I'd really recommend it if you haven't seen it. Very good film (well I liked it).

Swimming - I was looking into this the other day as I love it and have a gym membership that I'm hoping I can take baby to the pool with me once in a while (although I froze it until 1st May - so baby will be 3 months). They do "Water Babies" at my pool and it says they can swim from birth, but it's soooo expensive. They make you pay the 10 week term up front, and it's about £150 for 10 weeks. So I think I'll pass and take baby on my own.

Been looking through old photos today at mums and we found her maternity card with all her Antenatal appointments on. Back then they weighed, so I was chuffed to see I weighed 5lb less than her at 8 weeks preggers Especially when she used to go on about how skinny she was. However she maxed out at 12 stone 7lb and I'm nearly 13 already Also spooky - her EED for me was 3rd Feb (mine is 2nd Feb) - so I was 6 days 'late' and I weighed 8lb 5oz when born It'll be interesting to see if my baby follows suit.

I always get bad ulcers when tired. Rinse and swill mouth with salted warm water three times a day and they're soon gone. Tastes rotten but works!! Xx
