Ah thats great news....it's lovely to see them on the screen.

My niece had a baby boy this morning, she actually made her due date....the only one in our family that mum can remember. She's all tearful 'cos shes now a great-nan and will be a nan again next week.

Must admit I'm teensie bit jealous....can't wait to meet my bump....oh well pre-op this afternoon then I'm not moving from the sofa til Weds morning ;)

Merry Xmas everyone, hope its happy and healthy for all

Right I'll try the icy water trick when I get home then. I know I'm probably worrying over nothing but I just need a bit of reassurance from the baby that he/she is ok in there. I keep poking my belly in various places and I just felt a little flutter but I want a big kick! Maybe the baby is feeling a bit squashed, I've had loads of big meals this week and been feeling feeling full so maybe the baby is also feeling full and just wants a nap!

Sorry to go back to the mucus plug conversation - just found this by googling raspberry leaf tea and mucus plug:
"Keep track of any changes. If you feel the Braxton-Hicks contractions becoming stronger, or if your doctor says that your cervix has begun to dilate or efface (thin), or if you pass your mucus plug, the tea could be working. If you have experienced no changes, try drinking more tea."

Good news then I think! I've been on a cup a day since my 32 week scan, I think I will stick with a cup until 36 weeks then increase to 2 cups for 36 and 37 weeks, and 3 cups for 38-40 weeks. Does that sound sensible?

My place has been exactly the same! I know I've been signed off for a little while with stress & SPD but after being in the same job for almost 5 years with the same staff you would think they would of done or even said something but nothing, not good luck or nothing. Just a call to ask me to pick up my personal stuff because they are moving offices next week!
I feel I been turfed out!

Do you work in my place too? lol :rotfl:
I feel a bit better thanks

Poor you :( I would have been exactly the same. Did everyone know you were leaving 3 weeks early?

Yep Lilian they knew. I havent been there for 2 weeks but my manager told me to come in and handover all my work and say goodbye :s Wouldnt have taken that much effort to get people to sign a card I arranged the date a week earlier so they had plenty of time. I suppose I have high expectations of humanity :rotfl:

On another note cant believe Ive got so long to wait till I meet bump :( seems like forever away
I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn't arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I'm going to be happy in it.

Never Look Down on People unless you are helping them up

You don't - there's no way I would let a colleague leave without a card at least. I even arranged my leaving lunch so that it could be a joint lunch with another girl who was leaving for good, she's not been here long and works in an office practically on her own so I was worried she would get forgotten about.
