Annibee - I think your work colleagues sound totally bogus. Make sure you don't bother getting any of them anything in future!

  • This Maternity Leave lark is costing me a fortune!! I keep seeing lots of cute clothes for the bump and with the sales just starting it's even more tempting. I already have quite a bit and guess you should hold off until you know what size they are going to be/how quick they will grow.

    How do you ladies resist!?!

Luckily I have one (nearly) 3 year old with a mountain of lovely worn once clothes, a cot that he is going to be out of after Christmas (having bought him a cars bed for Christmas), and a car seat and pram from when LO was younger. 'Also bambino nappies which will last for the first year :) - I only used cotton wool and warm water instead of wipes for first year as well

We have bought so far - a babygrow set from Marks and spencers using some of the vouchers that we were given for introducing a friend to sky :) and that is all :T

Have been given a few knitted things and gift sets as presents and expect lots more around christmas and when baby is born so we are not buying anything else only really need a moses basket which Im sure one of the grandparents will happily buy :)

AlFalfA. How weird? I'm 26 weeks exactly today (one day behind you) and I've not felt bubs move yet today. I'm guessing I just haven't noticed or it's a quiet day. Trying not to stress. Let me know how u get on xx

I struggle to post when not in work ladies cos I struggle with my phone and can't be bothered putting my laptop on so I'm saying now HAPPY CHRISTMAS.

I will read of course and post when I can.

    Have a good one xx

I'm a budget too. We've seen nursery furniture set in Argos for £299, but we have vouchers for £50 off, so I am hoping it is reduced in the sales

I've set my moses basket up in the living room. I love it:D I've got wall hangings, wall transfers and a lightshade from ebay coming after xmas (pricely sum of £15 altogether, well over £40 in babies r us:D). My mum is buying the pushchair for me and we'll buy a car seat.

I'm hoping friends and family will buy/donate clothes:eek:

I only feel it when i am sat in a chair and slightly leaning forward and feels like a flick from the inside but always in the same place

Still on the fence if they are real or imaginery movements lol
