Lilian - tea plan sounds perfect - I'm drinking my first cup of the day now! I haven't read the book - if I were you, I'd order it from the library!

Annibee - I'd be really upset if I was treated like that too. Try to forget about them and focus on everyone else who does appreciate you for the lovely person we know you are!

Alfalfa - I think sometimes you stop feeling the baby because it changes position in the womb. You can feel a lot less kicking if it's back is to your front than if it's back to back. Having said that, I worry too if I don't feel movement (and if I feel too much movement I worry it's either a fit or he is going to be a hyperactive baby! I think mothers just worry!)

I'm feeling all Christmassy now! Went to Asda and bought the tiniest Christmas tree ever for 50p (reduced from £3) and Christmas lights (£5 reduced from£20!). Time to get the house ready for the family!

    PPI Party Pooper
    Afternoon ladies:D

Feeling better again today had a good rest day yesterday and a pretty decent sleep. Am in work so we should finish early around 3pm. We have secret santa before then which always makes me a bit nervous!

Looks like I missed out on lots of laughs last night what are you lot like :D

Annibee ((hugs)) hun that is terrible. I would be really hurt also :(

Lilian sounds like things are going in the right direction!:j

EA great news on the scan!

Don't want to scare you ladies who know the sex of your babies but I was reading the other day about a couple who was told the sex of their baby (a boy) but a wee girl was born! Seemingly it's genitalia was very swollen and that's how the mistake was made!

Just about organised form Christmas, what a tizzy I have been in this year, at least I'll be on ML next year!! So annoyed though as I ordered a t shirt from Amazon for DH and had it delivered to Mums house. According to the delivery status it has been signed for, but there is no sign of it  We have hardly got anything for one another this year which makes it even more annoying! Going to have to e mail them.

Have a lovely Christmas Eve ladies, if i've got mum and dad coming round for tea tonight so may not make it back on later so if not have a fab Christmas xxxxx

You don't - there's no way I would let a colleague leave without a card at least. I even arranged my leaving lunch so that it could be a joint lunch with another girl who was leaving for good, she's not been here long and works in an office practically on her own so I was worried she would get forgotten about.

See thats how I would be! So after maternity leave deffo find a new job lol. *have to return for 3 months though so i dont have to pay my maternity pay back*

I was worried about this, and was told by my HR manager that if I didn't get anything in writing to say that I had to come back or pay it back, then I wouldn't have to. I haven't yet and I have 3 more working days...eeek...!

I'm not. But I did go to asda. I wanted to nose at other shops too, but the walk around asda killed me enough. Got 3 packs of Christmas Cards at 50p each for next year, so quite happy with that. And some reduced lamb to put in the freezer. Nom nom.

  • Annibee, I would have been really upset too! The least they could have done was a card and a voucher...

I can't wait to start on the raspberry leaf... Monday I think... I'll be 32 weeks then :D
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

  • I'm just waiting for OH to get home from work (all trains delayed at the moment..marvellous!), and then we have a few chores to do before heading off to my folks for Christmas.

So I probably won't get on again.

EA -great news the scan went well
Annibee - I think your work colleagues sound totally bogus. Make sure you don't bother getting any of them anything in future!
Alfalfa - hope you feel bubs move soon. I was a wreck over fetal movements (as folk on here will confirm!) but all was well and I didn't start feeling much until towards my 30th week. He sure made up for it though!

Love to all, have a fab Christmas and will be back on in a few days x :D

unfortunately have it in writing lol. Although it doesnt specify if I have to go back on the same hours so hopefully I can just go back part time - cant afford 2 kids in full time childcare anyway was paying £800 a month just for my lo

Well I struggled to the supermarket yesterday, then had an awful night's sleep as the back was really playing up.

    But today I am :j

    - my backache has practically gone, as are yesterday's aches and severe Braxton's

    - The MW called to say my blood was fine, so gestational diabetes ruled out in time for Xmas pud.

    - My little turkey is fully cooked today (37 weeks exactly)

    - Best of all MW has spoken with consultant and they are happy for me to have the home birth after all. So we opened and blew up the birth pool this morning

After such a crappy few days, this is the best Christmas pressie ever.

I know many of you will be with family and not here over Xmas - so to ALL LADIES and BUMPS - hope you have a merry, merry one.
We Made-it-3 on 28/01/11 with birth of our gorgeous DD.
