  • Good luck for today Tickle I hope that you have a fabulous day - enjoy every second as it really does fly by too quickly.

Well got up this morning didn't really feel too great, very tired but dragged myself into work. On the way it started snowing again by time the Business Manager arrived it was coming down thick and fast. After a bit of thinking he sent me home. On the way back the roads, which were clear this morning had got totally covered again and were like an ice rink - absolutely awful as people were slipping a sliding all over the place :(

Managed to get home, pulled down into our close and tried to get into the driveway, nope wasn't having any of it! Tried a few times to get in and slid all over the shop so went and turned round and tried from the other direction, nope. Husband had to come and help push me up the hill out of our street - didn't think we were going to manage it but eventually got up there and have had to abandon the car on the next road.

OH has finally conceeded that it looks extremely doubtful we will be going to Berwick on Friday - feel so bad as I know how much he wanted to go but unfortunately we can't control the weather and I'd much rather be safe and warm at home than run the risk of getting stranded somewhere in all of this.

Hope everyone is well and keeping those bumps wrapped up and warm *hugs*

  • OK read back and apologies if I am forgetting anything important but I just want to do two things and they are

BIG HUGS to Teenie go and speak to someone hun...I had a period where I was so low and would burst into tears for no reason and I wouldn;t talk to hubby. I walked into my line managers office for a return to work interview and bang out it all came and tbh it was the best thing I could have done. I have been re-referred to see my counsellor who I had been seeing for 10 months before I got preggers but in the meantime went to speak to my GP who said it was probably a hormonal blip and to see how I felt in the next couple of weeks as she didn't want to put me back on my AntiDs......I was glad I got it out though as it did help and my mood has improved a great deal. I'm not saying you will have the same result but I do urge you to speak to your GP or MW at least

BIG HUGS also for Dusty I knew my worry mate would come back :P....only kidding but seriously have a virtual hug and know that exactly the same stuff plus more keeps rolling itself around my head. Hubby keeps telling me I have to talk about the stuff that is going on and I keep telling him he will hate me if I tell him exactly what I think....saying that I did tell him some stuff and he just held me close and let me cry my little heart out for a good half hour........I was starting to get fed up with the comments I was getting about not being big enough to be 6 months preggers etc but now I am just thankful I won't have a huge amount of baby weight to loose (I will probably explode as soon as I finish work, lmao)

to every one else lets all do a virtual group hug ((((((((((((((((((((((((((HUG)))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))) hehe

ok am off to wahs my hair and get ready for this stupid work party.....bbl xxxxx

Yep, big bottle of Gaviscon, although I've heard some authorities won't prescribe this but an own-brand type one instead.

Yeah I feel fine. I was feeling fine yesterday, these worries are always in the back of my mind somewhere and like to surface now and then :).

I honeslty cannot buy anymore. I forget January is a 5 week month for us in the NHS so I have to make my money stretch an extra week. Having said that I did just get a fab sequin bag from Miss Selfridge in the sale :)

I've just been given a £50 Debenhams voucher from work - and I've been told I have to spend it on myself! I think I will save it for when baby weight is all gone and buy myself some nice new comfy jeans perhaps. Or invest in some decent winter boots in the sale!

Just been emailed this site - anyone thinking of booking a pregnancy photoshoot, don't take inspiration from this!

It's also got a link to some fab pictures of a couple who are adopting, I love them:
