Grateful I'm not sure what BH's are meant to feel like, although I've been told that your bump suddenly goes very hard.
I thought I was having something last night and woke up in a panic, but discovered it was more than likely just indigestion and a bit of wind:rotfl:

Still sat in the surgery....bored out of my mind and still freezing.
Grateful, my bh are my tummy going rock hard, almost like its going into spasm, normally last between 30 secs to 2 mins. Not really painful, just a little uncomfortable.

i don't recall my bump ever going hard with BH's. I did get a lot of back ache and almost sharp pains occiasionally in the last couple of weeks. They were actallly NOTHING like labour pains - except the back ache but that was thanks to DS wanting to be born back to back.loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:0

Don't think so, its lower back pain. If it gets excrutiating, I'll do something about it:rotfl:Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0 -
Congratulations MV and welcome Lablover.
I've just heard from one of the women in my NCT class - she gave birth at the hospital early this morning after getting stuck in the snow for 3 hours having contractions on all 4s in the back of the car! She had wanted a home birth but probably a good thing that didn't happen as the baby is nearly 10lb and she needed forceps in the end!0 -
Thank you grateful , is that a pic of your puppy? I also have a chocco lab , she is the cutest thing in the world. She is mixed with a short haired pointer so she is a nice dark chocolate colourThanks to MSE for making it possible for me save to buy my new flat , yay !!

MV Congratulations on reaching full term hun. I can’t wait to reach that stage myself – like you last December and the early months of this year were horrible and dark for me after our MMC. There were times I honestly wondered how OH and I would get through it but we have – am so glad that we are both ending the year on a more happy and positive note *hugs*
Welcome Lablover good to have you joining us
Not a good morning – thought they might close school today because of the snow. The kids and almost all the staff (bar 6) finished on Friday it’s just us 52 weekers left here. Took me 45 minutes to clear the car of snow and then a journey which usually takes me 6 minutes took almost 40 as the roads are atrocious. Got in and only 2 other people were here!
Got into work to find that the database has been taken offline and can’t be used and that the heating has packed up so am sat at my desk with my coat on and a little fan heater blasting on me. Apparently we are going home at 2pm and if it starts snowing again (which its due to) we will be leaving straight away.
Supposed to be driving up to OH’s dads on Christmas Eve – Milton Keynes to Berwick on Tweed for the Christmas. Not sure if we will be going tbh don’t fancy that drive in case we get stranded up there! Stupid snowOne day Rodney we'll be millionaires£2020 in 2020 - Running Total £170 -
Morning gang - thanks to everyone who wished me luck this morning - good luck to those who are yet to scan
Congrats MV what a year you've had!!
Welcome Lablover!
Sorry to everyone else I've missed
Well everything's ok with Creature, they managed to get the measurements after a lot of pressing down and prodding and poking and me having to roll onto my side then back then other side then back. I was so close to just saying leave it be, cos she was really hurting me
In other news, I love my family but sometimes it really sucks to be Mummy/Wifey. I'm not gonna moan cos Hubs is usually fantastic and I don't wanna paint him unfairly but I'm not too happy today at all.
That's all from me for now anyway, don't wanna drag anyone down. Hope everyone's ok. Stay safe and warm and bumpy! xxxAll horses deserve, at least once in their lives, to be loved by a little girl.

Berwick is pretty bad , they got it really bad the last time aswell. Its about 45 mins southish of me.Having said that , they are working pretty hard to keep the roads decent up here. After the debacle of last year. I hate driving in the snow its awful normally my OH gets snowed off work and he gives me a lift in but I decided to brave it today , was pretty slippery. To be fair we havent been hit that hard this week , 2 weeks ago it was up over the knee, its only just up over ankle bone today, fingers crossed it stays away. Thanks to MSE for making it possible for me save to buy my new flat , yay !!
