I too gave up changing my paypal account into my married name, what a palaver copying/faxing all sorts of ID. It still seems to work with my bank account/credit cards in my married name, so I just left it be.

Will the FB ladies not tease the rest of us who aren't on it with baby news, then not spill the beans.

Cutterby, I wouldn't be bothered putting a girl in a blue pram - only thing I would think of if it is a very pale powder blue is that it might get dirty quick.

  • An ex friend wouldn't let her 3 year old do ballet in case it "made" him gay

What a ridiculous thing to say:eek: I think ballet does boys the world of good - we've had a couple go off to full time training after school, they are more manly than most!

Ladies, would you put a baby in a pram of traditionally the opposite gender's colours? I'm asking cos there's a lovely travel system close enough to us to collect on eBay, only problem is it's blue check and we don't have our gender scan (is that what it's called?) until next Monday and the auction finishes in 2 days - do I take a risk and bid on it not knowing if we're having a boy and risk having to put a girl in a blue pram or do I let it go knowing there's not many travel sytems that I actually like that are close enough - and cheap enough :o - near enough to collect?

Actually... I'm probably rushing this, I'm only 18 weeks, plenty time to sort out the pram isn't there? :rotfl:

I'd get it personally if it ios a girl you can always buy a pink foot muff to make it more girly :D

:rotfl: Actually, as soon as I got home I realised I had some vaseline in the bathroom so I've put some on. I also had a good look in the mirror and it looks almost scab like - but a creamy colour. So not sure if it is like someone has mentioned (sorry forget who :o ), where maybe it has leaked and dried up. I did try picking at it but got a bit too painful. Gosh a but too much TMI there - sorry :o

Try putting a warm flannel on your boob it may loosen the crust. Oh they joys of leaky boobs lol.

  • Hi girls!

Good to see some baby arrivals! I have just over a week to go - I'm not entirely sure whether I'm ready or not, from an emotional or practical sense. I just feel like I'm hanging around and waiting unproductively!

I went out with my Dad and step Mum this afternoon. My dad drove me bonkers by worrying every 5 minutes, =I think he thought I was going to go into labour in front of him so he was just glad to get me home.

OH is sulking, as is the cat because he's on a diet (cat not OH)

Nothing to do tomorrow. Think I'll not bother getting dressed and slum it round the house all day. Maybe wash some baby clothes and rearrange stuff.

Talking of my baby, the devil child went quiet on me all day to the point where I genuinely considered phoning the hospital but he/she has perked up and had more substantial wriggling this evening.
