Thank you Anibee and lauren. It's not as much equipment as the shops would have you believe!

they just want the money if you ask me :p

honestly with ds I breastfed and used reusable nappies (bambino mios) and cleaned his bum with cotton wool and warm water..........saved a lot more than my friends who bought the entire shop :rotfl:
plus we fell into the trap of millions of toys and teethers and used none :D
also we had way too many clothes. ds was just in babygrows for most of the first few months so all those new jackets etc just stayed looking pretty oh well

Just a quick one to say I had a little girl, Charlotte Megan on Friday 10 Dec at 10:37am weighing 8lb 5oz, we had 3 nights in hospital so they could monitor her for 72 hours for withdrawals because of the medication I'd been on during the pregnancy. She's absolutely fine and we're now home.

I had the most amazing birth experience, around 5 hours from first contraction to delivery, laboured and delivered in the birth pool with a bit of gas and air. I couldn.t have asked for a nicer experience.

Congratulations to all of the new baby's :D:D:D

I finally gave birth on Tuesday morning 14/12/10 at 6.22am after 60 hours of labour followed by an emergency section, it was very traumatic and am still getting my head round it. He is a wonderful baby though and I cannot get enough of just staring at him. Just got home this afternoon, stomach muscles are in a very bad way, muscles split and with the scar I cannot do anything, trying to get out of a chair/bed etc is nearly impossible at the moment! Callum Matthew was 9lb 13oz when he was born and got stuck, hence the problems! Will post a proper story once I can think straight!
