I'm back
Everything fine (as far as they can tell), got some cracking pictures but I am having a problem with the camera so will post them when DH comes home tonight. Seen the foot and toes, hands and fingers the heart was really clear as was the spine. Brain present and correct and top lip there so very please and relieved. Seen bubs yawning and opening and closing it's mouth, and it was so weird, every time it moved I really felt it a bit surreal!
Tried to have a peek at the bum area but she really didn't venture near that area so as expected still team yellow."That's no reason to cry. One cries because one is sad. For example, I cry because others are stupid, and that makes me sad."0 -

In all honesty I am aiming to get my BMI to 35 after bubs is born, at booking in I was a BMI of 43. So Weight watchers for me when little tickle arrives, as I think I will have approx 4 stone to lose.
This is it I'm only 4ft 11" so to come in the recommended weight for a 'normal' BMI I would have to be something stupid like under 7 stone. When I was 7 stone back in my teens it was because I was eating just 1 orange a day - so how that can be classed as good I just don't know. If I could just be a bit taller I don't think it would be so bad but I think the chances of me growing 6 or 7 inches in height is pretty slim at the age of 37
My BMI at booking in was 36. I had lost 1st 4lbs prior to getting my BFP this time by following the SW Extra Easy Plan at home so I think if I can get back onto plan I should be able to work at getting my weight down. Ideally I'd like to lose around 4 - 5 stone - am already looking at exercise I can do with the baby like buggyfit etcFairy, I'll do Slimming World too if need be. I gain what I gain...I'm being mindful and thinking "do I really need it?" but most times I think f*ck it yeah!
I'm trying to adopt a balanced diet throughout my pregnancy but it's hard as I have totally gone off white meat which I usually love so my usual dinners of chicken with vegetables are off the menu as eating it just makes me feel sick.
If I fancy something I don't deny myself it, just have a smaller portion which fits in well as I can't eat as much as I used to anyway these days. My main problem is lack of exercise - I started off with all good intentions of going to Aquafit while I was pregnant and haven't been once
I hope you are feeling better soon.
In other news Mamas and Papas have phoned to say our pram has arrived and can we go and collect it before Tuesday :j Not quite sure where we are going to put it though!

I lost 3 stone before I got PG, my BMI was 31 and I got it down to 23. I'm 5 foot 9 btw. I did it through SW extra easy too and will be going back to that after bubs is born and I have fiished BF etc.
Everything OK in the dentist, just had to have a scrape and polish so I now have shiny gnashers for xmas!
Ladies, one thing the dentist did tell me today thet if you are PG you should floss EVERY day rather than the recommended every other day due to the increase in likelihood of getting dodgy gums etc while pregnant. Apologies if you already know this but it might help someone.
ETA, glad you had good news Charlie. I remember how relieved I was when mine came back low risk. They never gave me a 1 in whatever figure just told me its low risk. thats good enough for me though!Baby Ice arrived 17th April 2011. Tired.com! :j0 -

Am trying to remember when I started feeling this - it seems like it's been like it for ages and I'm 33+5 today so it could be that I suppose?
Charlie - great news on the odds!

Oh yes, sorry to keep going ON and ON about it but after feeling "something" the other day, quite low down, I've not felt anything since. Starting to obsess again!
I was going to buy a doppler so I could at least listen to the heartbeat but my OH has vetoed it, he said if for some reason I cant find it I'll make myself panic even more!Baby Ice arrived 17th April 2011. Tired.com! :j0 -

I brought one and had to sell it for that very reason.
No matter how hard I tried I couldn't find the babies heartbeat just my own and the swooshing of the placenta. It just ended up stressing me out even more so I decided to sell it on Ebay as I knew if I didn't I'd drive myself mad with worry. One day Rodney we'll be millionaires£2020 in 2020 - Running Total £170 -
Great news Teenie, glad everything is ok.
Fairy, ice and Fanta im also a huge Slimming world fan and had lost 3 1/2 stone but started piling it on at the beginning of last year. I just couldnt motivate myself anymore.
I still follow it slightly and find myself making SW choices at mealtimes. I have also cut back in portion sizes.
Ive maintained the same weight for the last 6 months. Im also not denying myself but trying to be a bit more sensible. I think the lack of alcohol and so many takaways has helped even it all out.
Ive totally gone off chocolate too but now craving savoury stuff and cakes.
My wee elderly neighbour from downstairs knocked the door earlier and handed me a card and 2 pressies wrapped up for the kids. I was taken aback at how kind this was considering weve lived here 2 weeks. I think its selection boxes, what a lovely thought.
I need to drop in a card for both sets of neighbours as the other couple are lovely too. I was thinking of making some fudge, coconut ice and Christmas cookies, and giving some to both neighbours.
I was thinking of getting a wee kilner jar from Asda and filling with it with fudge then popping a ribbon around the top. Either that or filling a cello cone as I have loads left from making snowman soup.:santa2::xmastree::santa2:0 -
