Sammy_girl,
you can get Lansinoh from your doctor on free prescription because of the cost - its about a tenner a tube ! whilst on the subject of free prescriptions you can also get gaviscon on prescription - i mention it cos i went for months buying it - not realising i could get it free
Can you also add me to the EDD list, I am due the 23rd Nov and am team yellow !

Oh I thought someone said last week they have stopped giving Gaviscon on free prescription? Or maybe I picked it up wrong or imagined it LOL!"That's no reason to cry. One cries because one is sad. For example, I cry because others are stupid, and that makes me sad."0 -

I didn't know you could get it on prescription.
Although tbh, i think i'd rather fork out a tenner than go to our doctors, they'd probably want to fully examine my nips, before misdiagnosing me with something else.:)Henry James Born 18/03/2011-11 days late!:)

Sammy I've deleted my list, saves confusion about updating"That's no reason to cry. One cries because one is sad. For example, I cry because others are stupid, and that makes me sad."0 -

Congrats on baby Lilly, Pukka!!
And are you ok Tigtag?? Labour? or just realising that your due date is tomorrow and we are nearly top of the list? (I am next on the list after you!!)0 -
Lansinoh is £7.99 at Mothercare at the mo: http://www.mothercare.com/Lansinoh-Nipple-Cream/dp/B000IVT03Y/sr=1-2/qid=1289843828/ref=sr_1_2/279-6578403-7959948?_encoding=UTF8&m=A2LBKNDJ2KZUGQ&n=42764041&mcb=core
Also your midwives should have samples to give to you for free.
Someone on here a while ago suggested vaseline as an alternative to lansinoh.
@Makeit3 - has he not even mentioned that you're having a baby to his new job then?
We're very lucky. OH works for Tesco and he's got 2 weeks paternity plus 2 weeks holiday and they're allowing his holiday to be tagged onto the end of the paternity leave which is really really good of them.
Congrats Pukka :j:j
Why are you :eek:ing Tigtag?!Baby Giz born 6/2/110 -
Oh I got my hypnobirthing book today. I agree with the whole principle of the thing, but I'm not sure the actual hypno part is really me. I'm going to have a go though as even if it helps me relax a little bit I think it will help as I'm quite a tense person.Baby Giz born 6/2/110
