Google apparently is my friend. It better be! A good friend will tell me how long to leave the turkey out of the freezer for before I can cook it!Any question, comment or opinion is not intended to be criticism of anyone else.2 Samuel 12:23 Romans 8:28 Psalm 30:5

Err... 2 adults and 2 kids for probably 3/4 meals over those days.
Cheers hun!I know you're supposed to be tired in the first trimester but how many hours per day did everyone else typically sleep in the first trimester?
Some days I just fell asleep where I was. Quite difficult explaining that to work! Lucky I work from home! What i'd have given for a few weeks off as I was absolutely shattered most of the time between 7-12 weeks and had to just slog on!Beautiful Baby Boy born 28 April 20110 -
Susan,
Being nosey but had to answer
I slept 8-10 hours a night, but had to have at least an hours nap when I got in from work and I'd still be shattered.
I trained my family not to ring before 7pm as there was a good chance they'd be waking me up so would be very grumpy. I had a good boss too because if the afternoon got too much I could just tell him and he'd let me go home.Proud to be dealing with my debts

Charlie id reckon your looking for a bird that feeds 10 ( 4 of you over 3 days less a couple as children wont eat a full portion)
Just looked at the Marks and spencer ordering book and for a whole Turkey for 10 folk it is a 5.5 kilo bird.
we are getting a Marks Turkey breast and for 6-8 people its 1.7kg (£25 )
not sure about the crown. most say on it, or Marks do anyway you could look theirs for a rough idea then get it where ever. We just went to Marks as I had vouchers plus my mum is a food snob and would turn her nose up at a frozen bird.
Inlaws arent so lucky, when they come they are having a frozen 3 bird roast from Aldis.:santa2::xmastree::santa2:0 -
Susan im the same as MDW i would sleep for 7 - 8 hours a night, with a toilet break. then during the day I would have a nap around 4pm as thats when I got most tired. I just couldnt keep my eyes open.
It wasnt everyday, only if I really needed it but I was usually in bed for 9 anyway.:santa2::xmastree::santa2:0 -
Good luck today Teenie with your scan.Keep those eyes peeled for bits lol. Weve settled for team yellow.
We know they wont tell us but have decided we dont want to know now anyway.
I managed to get all my Christmas shopping done yesterday ( im getting Deja vu that I posted this yesterday? if I did just ignore me)
I ended up getting OH a Blu ray player as I saw one for less than £100 and it was pretty good. Ive decided to put his boots away for his birthday. Ive asked his mum and my mum to get him a Blu ray disc each so he can use it.
I also treated myself and my sister to one of those cake stands form Homebase (grabbit thread) it was £3.98 and its gorgeous. I ended up making a victioria sponge last night just to try it out
I also got more Tesco clubcard vouchers in yesterday so I have enough to get a good amount off my xmas food shopping. Oh is coming with me on Sunday so I know he'll chip in.
The only problem is, I have budgeted for Christmas food shopping but not for meals up until then so ive warned them, all we are living off tuna pasta and leek and tattie soup until Christmas eve.
Im wondering if Sunday will be too early to get all my veg and stuff? I need soup veg, sprouts carrots, tatties and parsnips etc. I wanted to get it all done so it wasnt a mad rush during the week when the shops are mental.:santa2::xmastree::santa2:0 -
Morrrrrrrrrrrr-ninnnnnnnnnnng!!
Charlie did anyone get back to you yesterday?
Hope icey's feeling better today - now I've got her germs :rotfl:
Good luck with your scan teenie
I went to my best friend's last night - she only lives down the road but we rarely see each other, it's just texts and phone calls - after picking Moo up from school, she has a 14 month old son, we only went for a brew and a quick chat.... Didn't get home til 22.40!!! But the world has been well and truly put to rights, and despite waking up with a headache and a sore snuffly nose, I amtoday! Moo's staying home from school today, was her Christmas party yesterday and only half the class were in!! She's full of a cold and wasn't well last night but wanted to stay and play with my friend's son, was so sweet to see them together, she's gonna be the best big sister
Think our big chat last night helped me sleep - straight through to 7 this morning, no waking up at 2 or 3 am - thankfully!!!
Hope everyone else is ok - sounds like we'll have a birth announcement quite soon :T (ooh, on that topic, how would you feel if you'd just given birth, hadn't had chance to tell anyone yet but when you do get on FB and start texting people, your sister-in-law had already announced your news? I'd be fuming I think, cos it's our news to tell, not hers! Fair enough if she'd asked could she tell people and if you'd not been able to get online, but she hadn't asked and this was within hours of the birth - tiny bit thunder stealing or am I a bit harsh?)
Big squeezy hugsxxx
