Aw Cat what a worry for you
Lets hope bubs decided to make a slightly early appearance, and if he arrives on Friday he will share my birthday

SA-hope all goes well today, will look out for your post this evening. Congrats Peaches, she's beautiful! xx
Gonna try doing internet christmas shopping today. Got my credit card out ready.
Sorry, I've prob missed loads, this thread moving so quick!!! xx0 -
Sorry Cat, maybe have a look at the beifits thread and see how much you'd get. I claimed tax credits whilst on materity with DS and it took a while to come through. So maybe you could ring up for the forms anyway and then wait and see what happens next week.

Awwwww Perfect Peaches she is absolutely gorgeous – lovely photo
MV I don’t blame you for not going in – it’s treacherous enough walking on snowy/icy pavements etc at the best of times let alone when 8 months pregnant. Don’t feel guilty at the end of the day your main priority is keeping you and bubs safe and sound – your boss obviously has a heart of stone (and a lack of personality by the sounds of things!)
Enjoy your time off Dusty hope the bathroom gets sorted nice and quickly and you have a good weekend
Sorry to hear about your hubby’s job Catwoman hope you both manage to get something sorted *hugs*
Good luck with the Christmas shopping lwcus I am doing as much of mine online as possible this year as I can’t be doing with jostling crowds etc in the shops. Luckily I don’t have too much that I need to get really.
Giz try and take it easy today hun. My back feels like it is about to seize up after 5 hours bent over at the photocopier and table yesterday. It’s so easy to feel like you can just do everything normally but am starting to realise that things are going to become harder with each week now.

Many thanks for all your kind words about my lovely little girl! It is still weird to finally have her here! And it is even more weird being called a mum!!

Peaches she is utterly beautiful. What a treasure!
Busy day at work today so just popping in to make sure those who are Xmas Shopping online are mooching at Argos. LOADS of toys half price (incl peppa pig and hello kitty) and lots on 3 for 2. But also some baby stuff (there's a baby swing half price for 12 quid). So worth having a mooch!

Well, I'm delighted to say the ECV was successful! First the midwife tried and was unsuccessful and then the consultant came and gave me some intravenous drug which gave me palpitations. It was very painful and I feel like I have bruises all over my tummy. But I don't care because it worked!
And I think we've found a name!I'd spend a bit of time on your knees though... Don't want baby turning back around lol... Do you have some arnica cream for the bruises? I regularly slather my toddler in it, works a treat
Oh MV ignore your boss. He's a !!!!!!.
It's not too bad here. Only an inch of snow and the roads are OK once you get out of your own street. Nothing compared to last year, although I suppose it could still happen.
I'm in pain todayI think I over did it last night. Spent an hour or so on the floor wrapping presents. Had the home shop delivered and refused help from the guy
and probably lifted too heavy trays
and decided to sweep the path out the front to clear the snow (lesson learned after last year - it's best to keep on top of it). Now my pelvis is killing me. So definitely think it might be 'overdoing it' related.
It's December :j I finish work THIS monthBeen looking forward to saying that
19 working days to go...
Had my 28wk midwife app yesterday, I downed a pint of water before I went and she actually got blood out on the first stab so I'll definitely be using that method in future!!!
Blood pressure and everything was OK... She told me that I was going to make it difficult to track the weight of the baby with fundal height measuring since I've declined the growth scans... I told her it would be even harder since I'm declining fundal height measurement too... She did the heartbeat standing up though, since I didn't need to lie on the bed for the measurement which was a lot kinder on my back than having to haul myself up again... I recorded it for Hubby, it sounds decidedly train like...
And the Dr just called to say there's a script for me for Iron tablets... Be interesting to see what my blood results are when I go back in 3 weeks...
Got physio tomorrow, I was toying with the idea of busing it there and getting a taxi back, but Hubby's put me under house arrest with the snow, so looks like a taxi there and back... Still, it's only across the motorway so doubt it will cost more than a fiver each way....A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.
