Now I'm just waiting to see if M&P have one of their 10% off days (not sure how often they come up, they had one when I was first looking for a pushchair but wasn't ready to get it then).Baby Giz born 6/2/110

Wow! How chatty are you ladies today!
Congratulations Perfectpeaches and welcome LittleBit!
Well, I'm delighted to say the ECV was successful! First the midwife tried and was unsuccessful and then the consultant came and gave me some intravenous drug which gave me palpitations. It was very painful and I feel like I have bruises all over my tummy. But I don't care because it worked!
And I think we've found a name!:j

Wow thank you for that. I had heard of those bambino mio things but never understood what they were lol.
I was really interested in the terrys until they offered the high price. May i ask if you know where to get them cheaper?.
Again thank you so much for clearing it all up for me.
I have no idea what and how many you need, but for comparison for your £200 quote, here's a pack on nappy lady's site for £100

Maybe the terrys you were quoted for were the bamboo ones? They seem to be more expensive.Baby Giz born 6/2/110 -
I dont know if i want to kill DD or kill the stupid woman at the school who clearly has never had to deal with a 5ft tantruming child! All OH has to do is extend the cold feed pipe and replace the relay for the window.spaghetti_monster wrote: »
Anyway, I asked my instructor today when I'd be ready for the test and he didn't really want to commit - said that I really have to improve all this observation.
This is as far as I got catching up and now I'm off to bed lol... Will try harder tomorrow...A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... Evening Lady bumps
Just on for a catch up and to say thanks for all the well wishes, am feeling crappy and have a Drs appt in the morning. Think I might be talking to her about going back on my anti Ds which I stopped when I found out I was PG. Not dealing too well with things atm but that's a really long story and I really don't think anyone has the time to actually read what I might post and it will probably sound like me feeling sorry for myself. My lovely boss told me to pull myself together and start looking as if I was enjoying being preggers....a bit hard to do when you aren't exactly enjoying it....anyways she's referring me back to Occy Health to see my counsellor. That's the really short story lol......
so back to the other reason I am posting......welcome to LittleBit, Babyboysmummy, Cyclura and curlylou1986 quite an influx we have had today lol....
Ok going to go to bed. Hopefully tomorrow will bring a brighter daylabour vibes to all and big hugs to all in need xxxxx

Morning!
Sorry to hear that you are feeling depressed RBG. I have found my emotions have been very up and down while I've been pregnant - feel like I have spent the last 4 weeks constantly in tears! I don't know how my OH puts up with it. I think it is important that your midwife and gp know how you are feeling so they can support you. I was reading about antenatal depression which is apparently quite common but not recognised whereas postnatal depression is picked up on much more quickly.
I've got my 36 week mw appointment today which I've booked at the local midwife-led unit. I'm hoping the rooms are free so I can have a look round. It seems like a good place for us to give birth - it is just 10 min down the road from us and on the top floor of the large maternity hospital so if something goes wrong, we would just need to go downstairs. I feel that now the baby is head down, I can start thinking about a birth plan, organise a tens machine etc. Feel like a weight is off my mind!
Have a good day all!0 -

Morning lovelies.
Just a quick update whilst I'm waiting for a traffic update and the gritter/plough to make it through the village.
31 weeks today :j. Can't remember who mentioned it but I've also noticed less movement this past week. Still getting enough prods here and there not to worry too much...baby had to run out of space eventually.
Had our second ante-natal class last night...much better than the first although only one other couple made it with the weather. Discussed all the options for pain relief and positions for labour/birth. Watched a short video of a waterbirth which was lovely...not terrifying at all and found it a bit emotional actually:). The class also prompted a really good convo with DH about what we want at the birth so think we're ready to write our birth plan.
Right, better get my skates on (maybe literally :rotfl:). Catch up later. cx0
