Morning ladies
On the phone for quick update. Going for growth scan today and I'm relieved that it hasn't snowed much here so hopefully the journey is not too bad.
Giz - I'm feeling exactly the same feelings now, not kicks but more shifts and prods. I'm interested to see how much room he's got left.
Anyway I'll have a proper look back once back home. Have a good morning all xxVirtual Sealed Pot 2013 #41 - £69.27OJ born 25/01/110 -

Morning - I am not going into work again. Snow just as thick and my road resembles an ice rink.
It took OH 2 and a half hours to get home last night from Wimbledon (a normally 30 mins door to door commute), most of it on foot as Clapham Junction station had closed most of its platforms off due to delays and overcrowding.
I would have been totally stuffed had I gone in..how an 8 months pregnant woman would be expected to walk in the snow for miles with no toilets nearby (I go about once every 20 mins!), I do not know.
So I am waiting for sarcastic, unsympathetic response no2 now. I did cc in the HR Director this time, hoping that she may have a bit more empathy seeing as it was her who told me in my original maternity meeting that as I'm pregnant I am not expected to try and fight my way in on train strike days etc...I presume this is a similar exception.
It's stress I don't need, that's for sure
Hugs RBG.
Hope everyone else isn't having to struggle too much in this weather.Metranil dreams of becoming a neon,You don't even take him seriously,How am I going to get to heaven?,When I'm just balanced so precariously..0 -

It's horrible isn't it, being made to feel guilty, as if you are trying to pull a fast one
I've offered to take the day as unpaid leave, so hardly as if I am trying to take the pi55!
If I'd have struggled in yesterday I'd have had to do the same 3 mile walk home in the snow that OH did (+ all the additional travel just to get to Clapham Junction!). Pregnant women should not be made to feel guilty, nothing is more important than you and your unborn bub being safe and sound..certainly no poxy job :mad:Metranil dreams of becoming a neon,You don't even take him seriously,How am I going to get to heaven?,When I'm just balanced so precariously..0 -

MV I really feel for you
What a f***ing idiot your boss is! It makes me really appreciate my bosses, they are fab. They are not all over me being over protective, which I would hate, but they do genuinely care that I am ok.
It's just as well you don't have long to go hun, I don't think the stress you are obvioulsy experiencing is good for you and like you said you and bubs are the most important people at the moment. xx
ETA; AW Peaches she is absolutely gorgeous. My DD has just said she wants one like that one LOL! x"That's no reason to cry. One cries because one is sad. For example, I cry because others are stupid, and that makes me sad."0 -
I've taken today, tomorrow and Friday off as holidays and am now annoyed about it as wouldn't have been able to go in anyway! Plus, our boiler has now packed up - not to do with the leak under the bath thankfully, it's just given up the ghost. Earliest they can service it is tomorrow - glad I have the gas fire in the living room, the radiator for the nursery and a fan heater in the bedroom! Oh and the AMAZING electric blanket! No shower or hot water though - popping to Tesco in a bit for a washing up bowl so I can at least wash my hair with water from the kettle.

Oh MV ignore your boss. He's a !!!!!!.
It's not too bad here. Only an inch of snow and the roads are OK once you get out of your own street. Nothing compared to last year, although I suppose it could still happen.
I'm in pain todayI think I over did it last night. Spent an hour or so on the floor wrapping presents. Had the home shop delivered and refused help from the guy
and probably lifted too heavy trays
and decided to sweep the path out the front to clear the snow (lesson learned after last year - it's best to keep on top of it). Now my pelvis is killing me. So definitely think it might be 'overdoing it' related.
It's December :j I finish work THIS monthBeen looking forward to saying that
19 working days to go...
