Morning (just, lol) lady bumps
Hope we are all well and Giz I hope you are going to take a rest day today
Peaches she is an absolutely gorgeous bundle of joy and I hope you are enjoying your mummy cuddles hehe
Feeling a bit better today Went to my Dr and had a long chat with her. She doesn't want to put me back on my anti Ds as she thinks this is just a wee hormonal blip and that it will settle as soon as my family problems settle. I'm going to find all the stuff my counsellor gave me previously and try the tricks she taught me but have to remind myself of them coz I have mush for brains atm lol
Am off work today as I will be from on a Wednesday from now until the 13th January which is my last working day and tbh I cannot wait to get the hell outta there. My boss told me yesterday that she didn't think should be in work at all with my mental state  I told her that atm if I wasn't working at all I would be tearing my hair out and I think my mental state would be a hell of a lot worse. Also told her I was fed up with people in the office discussing my work between themselves and not coming and talking to me about it so she is going to look into that. I did explain that that is the main part of why I am hating work atm. I am normally such a feisty biker who stands up for herself but atm I am a snivelling wreak who bursts into tears at the slightest thing. I do agree I need to buck up my ideas but at the same time I put some of it down to hormones as well.
ok that's that wee bit of my mind, lol...next instalment later :P going to go to the hairdressers this afternoon and make myself look human again lol, my mop needs a huge whack off it lol in the meantime going to call hubby and see if he is coming home for lunch.
Be careful on the ice and in the snow ladies and sorry if I have forgotten anything happening to you lovely ladies ie....Dusty have a good weekendand MV your boss sounds like the biggest pillock I have ever heard off in my life huge hugs to all who need them xxxxx

Hi Ladies,
Sorry, just a flying visit. Will catch up later I promise.
I hope all are well. (((Hugs))) for those that need them and welcome to newbies. Congrats to births and labour vibes to those in need.
I had a bit of a nightmare journey home last night, London is cr*p in this weather. It's days like this that I'm glad I only work 2 days a week, and I've done my quota this week so have no need to get the car out - don't think I could even if I wanted to!!
Catch up later xx0 -
krystal wear a really warm jumper next time, too, makes it easier to find the blood vessels.
RGB you are entitled to be a hormonal wreck when you are pregnant. I had a total meltdown the weekend before last when I wouldn't normally have. You'll get through it. Fair play to your GP not jumping straight in with the meds. Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0 -
To bring this conversation back to babies lol.
Anyone using cloth nappies. Any recommendations??
Im Hoping to get these. After alot of headaches and hours of research Im getting these because;
I dont have a tumbledryer and they will dry quickly
I like the idea I can make them as thick/absorbant as needed
I prefered the look of these to the one size fits all varieties
And they're a blooming good price:heart2:Married 03/09/2005

I have found that when my instructor tells me what I need to work on, I focus on that a lot more and improve on it over the next few lessons... Mine really wasn't able to commit to telling me when I'd be test ready, it just sort of came upon me one day... She asked me if I was able to book it and the next earliest date was 6 weeks away... I've definitely improved loads in the last 4 1/2 weeks... Test next week
Good luck with the test!!
I think my instructor had been thinking about it because he called me later yesterday and has now booked me in for a test on Jan 3rd!0 -
Ladies, help!
Bought a new pair of maternity jeans from New look. They have like an elasticated inner. Does that go above and over the bump or stay in the jeans??? Bloody weird!Beautiful Baby Boy born 28 April 20110 -
Sounds intriguing Charlie... I'd wear it however is most comfortable...
Wow Spaghetti, good luck for you too!
OTE, I have a couple of those, I'm not keen on them on the whole, they don't keep the shape well when they're washed... And I find the velcro part flips over and digs in DD1s tummy a bit... But that could be because she's a tad scrawny...
I used terry flats with DD1, they always worked fine for me... I used the newborn fold originally, and then after someone gave me a demo of bambino mio nappies I decided I could just do that with the terry squares, so I just used to fold them into pads...
DD2 has a whole host of different nappies... We started off with Little Lambs, which were fine... Then moved on to tots bots rainbows that I got from the used nappy website, we have a couple of modern baby pop ins which I quite like, some one life all in ones that are fine now but were crap when she was smaller... And some itti bitti d'lish snap ins which i really like, they're very slim fitting and look pretty...
I really like nature babies for wraps... They're made in the UK so I feel all virtuous when I buy them lol... Plus the patterns are nice...A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Thanks Krystal. That was my immediate thought. Except I put it in the jeans and it feels like i've got baggy knickers and I put it over the bump and that feels uncomfortable at the top where the elastic is.
So neither way very comfortable at all really!

Charlie pull the inner up and it should go over the bump
RBG sorry youre having a crap time at the moment, come and be emotional on here, we all know what its like!
Peaches what a beautiful girl you have there, congratulations
Ejecoms, good news on the ecv, bet youre soooo relieved about that!
In our news, took dd to the docs this morning, she has a chest infection bless, so got some meds for her which hope will kick in soon so that I can get a decent nights sleep, was up at 10, 11, 12, 1, 2, 4, 5 and eventually gave in and came downstairs at 6. So I think I did sleep but only for about half hour/45 mins at a time, apart from between 2 and 4 when she gave me a bit longer. Aaah the joy of kids eh!
Went round to a friends after the docs, her dd (also 2) has a chesty aswell so we figured they couldnt really do each other much harm lol, plus I had to get dd distracted somehow. Despite the chest infection she is full of beans and in need of constant entertainment which is exhausting mummy at the moment (that and lack of sleep I imagine).
Snow is getting worse round here, dont think I would have bothered getting dd to the minders then myself to work even if she were well to be honest, oh has been working in leicester the last 2 days, took him 3 hrs to get back to derby last night, hope its not the same tonight.
Anyhoo hope everyone is well and warm!

Thanks DM. Will go with that as it did seem more logical and see how it feels. They are a bit baggy so i'll need to find a belt too. I went one size up as I figured I needed plenty of growing room. Not bad though for £25 reduced to £15 each at New Look. Love the indigo blue colour too!
Hope your little one feels better soon! Sending get well vibes her way so that mummy can get some sleep!Beautiful Baby Boy born 28 April 20110
