Garnet - its an area in dundee about a mile from where he lives. he is snowbound.

Hubby called to say he is within dundee city limits but on the a90 and not looking good, right hand lane is bad apparently. he is going to attempt tesco on way home to pick up some bits just in case

When do/did you lot start buying big things?

I didn;t buy a thing til after my 12 week scan, then I decided what I wanted and started getting stuff when it was cheap enough. Got the cotbed off ebay about 14 weeks cos it was a bargain, only ordered the pram on sunday.

They are the two big things, everything else is accessories. Main thing left to get is the car seat but will wait til after xmas now for that.

Thank you - I think that is the one i'm going for, makes sense to keep the same base and just change the seat. Plus bonus that it fits on the Zoom.

I feel sorry for poor baby as well, when I saw my friend's newborn the other day she was still all crushed up like that - it must take them a while to stretch out again.

Just bought a heated underblanket from Tesco as it's freezing in our bed when we get in - OH was moaning about it last night. As it's his birthday tomorrow I was thinking about putting it on the bed and turning it on before we go upstairs to bed - is it mean to tell him there will be an early birthday present waiting in bed for him and for it to not be nookie? TBH I think he'd prefer the underblanket anyway!

:rotfl:I think my OH is the same at teh mo, we haven't DTD for weeks. Am hoping our dirty weekend to Chester (which apparently is still going ahead) will put an end to the drought

Series 2 is very good! I was going to watch ahead online but DH got into it so we watch it together every Tuesday night

Thought I would pop in and say hello. I'm 12 weeks pregnant with number 3. I had my 12wk scan yesterday and all seems ok. They have given me an EDD of 9th June.
We still haven't told anyone in real life yet, I'm hoping to hang on til Christmas
