  • Has anyone had itchy feet? I'm not talking about a normal itch on the skin but its like pins underneath my feet? It isnt constantly there, just a few times throughout the day?

Lilac - did your hubby make it up to Ellon?

My DH is clearing snow at Michellin again, but Tayside Contracts are needing people to work 24hrs, so my hubby's work having been asked, so possibly nightshift clearing snow (in a digger) as theyu are expecting around 8inches of snow tonight again!!

Nic - how is the house move going? Did the movers make it up to Aberdeenshire?

My goodness ladies what a chatty lot you are! Have just skimmed through some posts, will hopefully catch up properly later.

I just want to say a big thank you to everyone for your reassurance. I am feeling better today (I was in tears last night ....again!:o) and it is kind of nice to know that a lot of us around the same stage are experiencing the same. Was in such a tizzy this morning so forgot to take m/w's number to work with me. Will see how things are tonight/tomorrow.

Anyway just a quick ((hugs)) to loads of you, sounds as though you need it, sorry that is such a cop out but just so busy at work today and I was late as I got stuck in the snow twice!

    Have a fab day xxx

  • Hi pregnant ladies!
I can hardly keep up even just lurking! Hugs to all that need them - I'm having a much less eventful morning!

Who was it talking about peeing (Sammy????) I have exactly the same - need to pee fairly often, sometimes feel the need constantly, but there's usually barely anything there. Infact I've almost trained myself not to notice it half the time. I guess my bladder is being used as a pillow/footrest.

A question for you ladies who drive...
I just had another lesson. Apparently it's all going quite well - the actual driving is fine (today I felt really comfortable and "natural" driving), but I still don't look/observe enough. In Holland there's a road sign every 3cm, lines and markings all over every road and separate bike paths everywhere to look out for (often with speeding 16 year olds on mopeds).
Anyway, I asked my instructor today when I'd be ready for the test and he didn't really want to commit - said that I really have to improve all this observation.
So I'm starting to get a bit concerned if I'll make it before d-day (15th Feb), what with Christmas and everything......
How long do you think I can drive for? I'm quite short (my knees are almost touching the car under the steering wheel). I'm alright at the mo, if I get the seat angle right, but wondering what will happen when I get bigger (29 weeks tomorrow)
  • I am feeling exactly the same!! Its doing my head in, feeling guilty??FOR WHAT??

I think im that used to rushing around, having things to do, places to go, horse to feed, dog to walk, DS to pick up etc etc im feeling a little lost. And i lknow this is the way it should be and i should enjoy it, but i guess it will just take a while to get used to.

Im due 22nd Dec- i'll be 37 weeks tomorrow. The itch is like underneath my feet and it feels like pins or something. i was speaking with my friend and she had it really bad where it felt like she wanted to rip her feet off, lol! she went to the hospital and they done a blood test and induced her early due to that obstetric cholestasis, but i havent had any other of the symptoms and i'm sick of going to the hospital to be told "nope there's nothing wrong!" not that i want there to be but last week i thought my waters were slowly breaking, and ended up with a male doctor giving me a smear type examination and then to be told "noope its just CM!"

    Its doing my head in!!

  • spaghetti no reason you shouldn't drive right up to delivery, I did and I'm fat as butter.

Do you have faith in your instructor or is it time for another one? I sacked my first as all he seemed to do was smoke and stop for petrol.

MV your boss sounds a tool. My friend brought a sex discrimination action working at a newsagency in Paris, they settled and she used to cash to take a year out and do an MBA. Maybe consider it? As for your man, did he want to ttc? He must have, you werent exactly doing it in secret! Can you force him into a discussion?? I keep having nightmares about DH not wanting baby and wanting to leave, the kind of nightmare where you think you have woken up but haven't. The poor sod gets woken up at 2 am and made to profess undying love before I will go back to sleep!!!

It is snowing lazily here and minus 7 apparently. I'm going to turn up all the radiators and see how well the heating can cope.

I've been asleep since I last posted...
