Why not put it your credit card, that gives you least least 30 days interest free credit, by which time the refund will be through.
And any big-ticket item (over the minimum £100 limit) is always better purchased on a CC anyway, because if all else fails you can then claim it from the card issuer. I think the same protection only applies to VISA debit cards?

i wanted a refund, but i didnt get it cos it'd take too long. dont have a credit card either. hubbys been bankrupt so credit is a nogo

fkn ridiculous!!!!!
we went there to swap the indesit for a beko with the same specs (the girl on the phone said there were some there) but we got there & theres none in stock. so we had to take the identical indesit off the shop floor. it better not go wrong!!!
