Hey, no probs. Now you know more about babbies that I do you know there is light at the end of the tunnel and that easier times are just around the corner. Hang on on there baby. More DFW Weekend parties with loads of smut and innunendo I say. Maybe we could start a virtual swingin thread!!! Probably get banned!!!! Oh-Hum...... lilibet... I don't know if anyone would pay to read my ramblings...lol.
As for how we manage? God knows. We just muddle through living day to day and take everything as it comes. I think it's the only way you can live with a newborn to be honest let alone a toddler. It's been hard but we try not to focus on what's already happened, just what's going to happen.
(If only it were that easy though.)
Thanks everyone for all the kind messages. Lenny, I completely agree with you that we need a bit of trash talk on MSE, would certainly spice things up a bit... lol.Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043

hello so sorry to hear about your PMD-did you HV suggest visiting the doctor or anything else?
Maybe you should take a couple of weeks break from doing the DFWanabie thing-a couple of months extra being in debt isnt much and your health is soo much more important.Maybe you could apply for a new card w/ a low interest (apologies if you've tried that already) and save yourself some interest in the process.I know you like the challenges of paying the debts off one by one but health is more important.0 -

Thanks cocalls. My hv didn't suggest anything no, she's just going to see how I am when she comes next. It sounds daft but I kind of thrive off the whole dfw thing and paying off our debts. It gives me something 'adult' to occupy my mind with and I feel more secure when I'm organised and know where I am with things. I've always had quite an obsessive personality when it comes to organising and planning things (Just ask Ste..) and I always have to have everything organised down to the last details and check things 2-3-4 times before I feel happy that they're right and sorted. The only downside to that is that things tend to get on top of me if something goes wrong or not quite to plan.
So it's kind of a catch 22.Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043

Understood-wish i was a bit more like that!!
I just find your journey so fasinating i'm a studen tat the moment so actually increasing my debt but love comeing on here and reading others stories to keep me on the straight and narrow!
Looking at your SOA on your v first post (wow have i really been lurking that long!!)is your gas/leccy still that high have you tried switching again? (althou not sure if martin says to yet!!)
When i switched last yr npower who i was already with came up the cheapest on uswitch but when i went on the tesco site Atlanic were by far the cheapest at 14/m for leccy and 34/m for gas.
Also have you thought about changing your council tax to 12 monthly that way it'll be cheaper every month?
can you ring Bt and see if they can do anything cheaper(or better still get out of the contract??0 -
Hey I_A,
I had PND with my daughter, I din't even know I had it and it wasn't picked up until she was 9 months... anyway, you might find just having some councelling sessions would help if it's only mild as HV says. That worked for me, I know everyones different though.

Aww hun, sorry to hear about the PND, sure you'll beat it really soon, just like everything else! I still love reading your diary, keep it up. xxx"Nobody made a greater mistake than he who did nothing because he could only do a little." Edmund Burke

Hi,
I have just read through your thread too - seems you have worked really hard well done!!
Its hard work having two little ones whilst your stressed, well its hard work anyway - my children are fifteen months apart and I also had PND after my second child - if you ever want to chat just drop me a PM ! My children are just over 3.5 and 2.5 now and their relationship is so fantastic - its amazing to watch the sibling relationship evolve - really special.0 -
Hi I-A
Sorry to hear that you have PND but great that it's been picked up on now.
Big hugs to you hon and I do hope that things ease for you - is the clinic running a postnatal group? I know with my second I kind of scoffed at it - but went along and found it great as it just got me chatting and then could meet up with the babies in the park etc and a couple had older children too so they could have paytime together too. Would be good if you could do this?

our gas and electric is still 65.50 a mont but every time we go on uswitch it still comes up as the cheapest
When we moved in our council only gave us the 10 month option but will see what they say this year and look into that.
We're in the BT contract til june. We've already knocked it down as much as possible and are just waiting for the contract to be up before we leave them as they service we've had off them has been shocking.
Thanks for you posts.Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043
