Your coments are very hurtful. Again i have not attacked IA so i don't see the need to attack me.
I lost my mother when i was 17yrs. I have no idea the whereabouts of my father. I have no other family. Dh lost his mum 4yrs ago. Doesn't even know who is father is. He has no other family. We have no help, nobody to look after the kids or treat us to little things. We have not been out for years or had any time alone. We work every possible hr there is between us. We are now dealing with a very angry teenage boy. Who is angry at the world that he lost his mother and has an alcoholic father that doesn't care about him.
Our debt is from when my mil was ill and dying and sorting out things after she died. ( she was a hopeless mum and terrible with money, but still loved very much)
It is not a case of the green eyed monster. I was only saying that alot of people have it alot harder.

I'm a little puzzled by whats being said, this is IA's diary/thread and I don't think its necessary to judge or compare her with anyone else. This thread is where she posts, sometimes for advice, sometimes to vent and often to amuse her "followers" with her clever wit - its personal to her anyone who posts here should surely look at it in that context. I doubt that IA thinks she suffers worse than anyone else but this is her haven something she started to help HER. Please refrain from judgement or comparison, we all have problems financial and otherwise and we are all at liberty to start our own thread and experience the support and popularity that IA has achieved.

It is only your opinion that your problems are worse than those of others.

We all have problems - yours maybe different to those of others, it doesnt make then any harder.

Can I suggest SEK that perhaps you start a thread of your own where people would happily give you support and advice.

It's not that I am unsympathetic to your situation, however you did come onto the diary thread of a well liked member of DFW and your first post was critical of her, which understandably got a few peoples backs up.

just wanted to come back and explain that i am in no way sideing with ia/sek. I posted my feelings for ia... she is wonderfull. Everyone that posts here are differnet people who lead very different and varieying lifes. Sadly people will compare themselves/their situation (i do it all the time) to others but as 'in debt again but dealing with it' says this is ia's thread and to come on here and critasise/judge her isnt in the mse/dfw forum etiquette.

My comments are not intended to be hurtful but in defense of IA.
I am truely sorry to hear about the loss of your mum and the [EMAIL="cr@p"]!!!!!![/EMAIL] that you have to deal with but you cannot justify hurtful comments with *my life is harder than yours* and to say things like you hope that others have it harder than you just beggers belief.

If you take some of IA's tips rather than looking at holidaying in FLorida and Toronto maybe you can be debt free soon too.

I dont wish to judge or tell you how to lead your life but as the addage goes, you cant have your cake and eat it.
