Mind you, I dont think people with only a few posts to their name have any right to make comments of that nature about a well respected member of DFW.

Please take time to find out someone's intentions people, before you make such harsh comments.

You butt away! You're absolutely right!! The way I read it was that IA got the bass from Freecycle - the guy said no-one else was interested in it - and IA is gonna do it upand MIGHT sell it.

Thats the problem Snaggles - they very obviously didnt bother to read any of IA's diary before judging her.

I have read your diary from beginning to end and try to check it so that i know how you are getting along but never had the courage to post before.

I think that it is truly sad that people can be so narrow minded as to judge before they know you as by reading your diary it is evident that you are a very special person.

Good luck with paying off citi! I will eagerly await the next instalment from your diary.

Even if IA did sell it I can't see the big deal. I can't see that's worse than recycling birthday/christmas pressies or ebaying things you've been given from friends or family. I had a bloody house full of my mother's cast offs. Loads of them became very precious after she died but I drew the line at a few things.

The person giving it away would have to be living in a time warp if they didn't know ebay existed, they could have ebayed it themselves. They obviously didn't want to, couldn't be bothered which is their choice. IA is restoring it with her own time and skill, someone else will benefit from that if she decides to sell it on, she will put a low starting price as she always does and they will pick how much they pay. I'm having a hard time finding the issue to be honest.

I have as much "right" as IA and indeed any other person to give my opinion, whether you agree with it or not on here. After all, this is a "public forum".
I have read this diary from front cover to back and her "intentions" as you put it were made very public from the beginning of the claiming of the bass. That was to do it up and sell it. I havent questioned her personality or even judged her as you are all saying. I pointed out something I felt from not just one comment IA made about selling it. There was no question that it "might" be sold. I questioned it, she responded. End of.
