Eggs money manager is great it saves you having to log into all your different accounts online. I have all my credit cards, mortgage, savings accounts and current account on it. I am sure you will find it useful to see it all on one page.

I love EMM. I joined when it the offer was posted earlier this month (SS posted I think) - I only did it to get the £10, but it's great, coz u can see all your balances at once. You can even put ur Paypal on there.

I read your diary most days and think you do a good job, as do all DFW.

I must say i was a bit shocked to read that as well as buying a bass you also took the one from freecycle. There may have been somebody out there just as desperate as you were for it and you took despite having already brought one. If nobody else wanted it then fair enough.

Im sorry but I have to agree with this comment. Isnt there some kind of a moral issue here to obtaining something from freecycle and selling it on. I appreciate your going to "do it up" however the cost is minimal to you as youve clearly shown, but essentially freecycle isnt for making a profit out of - Is it ??

I just need to clarify that I didn't get the bass with the intention of making a profit out of it. When I saw it was advertised and needed work I saw it as a chance to keep myself occupied with a little project and the chance to learn a bit more about the actual instrument by doing the work on it myself. Ste also plays guitar so he would use it as well.... do you really think he'd want to be seen playing a pink bass? lol.

When I said I could keep it or sell it on it was just a general comment as obviously it needs work so I think in the end I'd always keep it because of the amount of work needed on it!

Please don't think I'd abuse such a wonderful site such as freecycle out of pure greed because I'm really not like that.

Freecycle is to keep things out of landfill and to stop things which could be useful to someone getting dumped! Good luck with your project, could be a whole new career

I think some of the comments on here are a little harsh, I dont think IA would delibrately get something off freecycle with the intention of selling it on. If she were that type of person she wouldnt have offered her Pigsback prize to people on here yesterday.

    Sorry to butt in.
