The kids haven't done too badly to be fair-They got up at 5.15 yesterday but they're still sleeping now...Where as I am WIDE AWAKE! lol
The flight was delayed an hour and a half and they did well at the airport too-little troopers.
I read on MSN about the weather, how mad is that?! Not sorry I'm missing that. I wonder how Telford is doing? Ironbridge and Shrewsbury flood frequently...I think I'll have a look and see.Empty pockets never held anyone back, only empty heads and empty hearts can do that -Peale0 -
Ok... NOW I'm stressed. :wall:
Ste's had to put £10 petrol in as well as get another £10 out of the bank as he hasn't got any sandwich meat or anything left so will need to buy some tomorrow. That leaves us with..... wait for it... £7.49 in the bank...
We've got literally no fridge type food, potatoes, fruit or veg.Have got loads of meaty type things in the freezer and pasta but how on earth I'm going to lump it all together to make a meal I'll never know..
Luckily my 02 bill is the last main bill to go out on monday except for our final bt bill (all £7 of it on the 28th) so we should be ok but it's bloody tight... How on we're going to get through Ste's job switch over I just don't know!Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043

What I'm going to say might be unpopular, but please, if you do genuinely run out of food, use the credit card....it's not worth making yourselves ill over, you'll probably only need a couple of quids worth of stuff to get you through and I'm sure you will find a way to pay a bit extra back next month to compensate. I don't suppose you're still collecting £2 coins are you? Have you checked down the back of the sofa - we normally find a few quid there!"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250

We've already used to £2 coins...
We've got food but not the ingredients to a meal if that makes sense..... we've got the important bits like milk bread nappies wipes and formula.... it's trying to make something of the other stuff!Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043

Why don't you list the contents of your fridge/freezer/cupboards and we can have a look to see if we can suggest anything? Or maybe ask on the os board?"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250

Is there a market nearby where you can get a whole heap of vegetables cheaply?
And have you any herbs/spices/other flavourings in the cupboard?0 -

Doesn't life work in strange ways.... :rotfl:
Wrote out a babysitting advert and walked down to put it in my local co-op having raided the loose change jar which meant I could afford to get me and ash a drink each and some sweets...mmmmmmmm chewits are heavenly..
I was listening to Kerrang radio on my phone through earphones when I heard they were running a competition which you had to text in a reason for why you think you should win.... so I thought 'Hell why not, what have I got to lose apart from 30p phone credit?' so I texted them my reason and thought nothing else of it. A minute later I get a call from the DJ.... after a lengthy 'filler conversation' she informed me that I'd won!!!
Guess what I've won.....
.....
A crate of Banks' bitter!!!! lol!!! I don't even drink bitter or know anyone who does!! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
Just wait til I tell Ste... I wonder if I could blag taking it into tesco saying I was bought it as a present and exchanging it for beer we do drink? LMAO.Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043

I THINK I know what we're going to do.. (note the emphasis on the word think...lol)
Basically we think we're going to have our main bank as our bill account... and then get the tax credits and child benefit paid into what is now the debt account.... that way Ste's wages will go in to cover bills so we move over what is left over to the 'debt' account and then we'll live off the debt account with weekly budgets for food and everything else...
Got to do the maths but that way it should make it a lot easier... not sure what we're going to do about the initial low wage when Ste starts his new job because of him starting on the 2nd but being paid on the 20th tho.... :undecided:
Feeling much better today and the pain has all but gone. God bless antibiotics!Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043
