She did give me antibiotics... but I literally felt like I was on a conveyor belt, in, print prescription, out!

Sorry! You can tell I'm not with it today!

Anyway, from past experience it takes some pretty strong pain relief to make any difference (in my case codydromol (sp?) and morphine - but that was after the surgery!). I have found that the best thing for the pain is lots of fluids and a hot water bottle.

I know how horrible it is so I hope you feel better soon. :grouphug:

Oh and I think there is nothing wrong with treating yourself occasionally - especially if it is something you really really want!;)

Just had our final bt bill through! £7.49!!! lol! Hardly worth the effort...
had our first tiscali bill the other day too... £22 something so when they add the line rental it'll be about £31 for exactly the same service (but better as we get free calls) that BT wanted to charge us £55 for not including calls!!!

IA I hope you dont think I'm being out of order but can I just say how happy I was to hear that you have bought that guitar. It's time you got something for yourself. Everyone needs a memememe time now and again. Also have you thought that while you are strumming (or whatever it is you do with it!) away it will help clear your mind so you will be bright eyed and bushy tailed dealing with debt and PND etc.

Also, have to say, since starting reading your diary I have always thought that you were one great person, but after reading that you got bat out of hell ......well! you have now gone to the top of my list of really really great people. lol

Hope you are feeling better soon, shame I am other end of Staffordshire or I would come and babysit for you so you could curl up with hot water bottle.

D'you know what IA? I'm GLAD you bought the bass. You really deserve a treat and this is one that you'll more than get your money out of. Think of it this way. Play it for one hour a week and over a year that's only just over a pound a week - I call that cheap mate!
As for the fridge contents. Hmm. Add flour and cheese - cheese sauce. Cook broccoli and mash a bit into some of the cheese sauce for K (my DS loves that) put the rest for you three with some pasta and voila yummy meal for v. little money! Or if you're doing a shop and there's some fish on offer or reduced, do that with some mashed potato and the cheese sauce and broccoli and do fish pie. Knowing K, she'd probably eat that too!
Hope you feel better soon. Antibiotics sometimes take 2-3 days to kick in so don't worry if you don't feel 100% immediately. I'm sure you'll be more yourself in a day or so though.

Morning all!!!!!!!!! Apart from a crap night's sleep from getting up to the loo, up to k, up to the loo, up to k all night I do feel a little bit better today so think the antibiotics are kicking in. It's still hurting especially when I move but it's more like a dull ache now than agony.. :rotfl:

Oh and HOW SAD am I. I keep looking out the window for a royal mail van to pull up with my bass because the auction stated it'd be sent first class and would take one working day when in reality I know I'll be lucky if I get it by the end of next week!! I just want it sooooo bad!!!!!!!!!!! All regrets have gone out the window now and I just want my bass!!!!! lol

Oh and want a laugh? We have £27 in the bank to get us through to wednesday..... :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

    Hi IA!!!!
I'm so sorrry to hear you've been unwell-I used to get kidney infections and they are awful...
AND, Well done on the bass! I am so happy for you. You totally deserveit.

In Canada now and still suffering a bit from jetlag-It's 6am here and I'm bright-eyed and bushy tailed. The weather is STUNNING and the kids are having a wonderful time. We're off to Marineland today and Niagra Falls so I'll try and get some pictures and download them for you later.

    Did I miss Lenny going?

Hope you're feeling a little bit better hunny,

Glad you arrived safe and well! You're very lucky the weather over here has been awful... they evacuated parts of birmingham because of flooding!
