    Hi IA :hello:

I am really sorry to hear that your feelong so unwell, I too am prone to this sort of problem all the time  but I have to say that drinking as much water as possible (on it's own not in tea or juice or anything) sorts me out really quickly

HI everyone. Thanks for all the well wishes. Felt awful this afternoon and had some ibuprofen when Ste got in which is starting to wear off. Have spent most of the day curled up on the sofa. Off to bed so will update tomorrow with how the dr's went. I also did something very stupid in my moment of weakness but will explain more tomorrow as I need to lie down.

I think she bought a bass, but sar it's pretty mean to leave us dangling like that, I'm dying to know. If you did buy a bass I would see it as money saving (go with me here). If I'm bored and feel like going into town to buy things, I think I need but really just want. I go off and play kit for a few hours, that kills any desire to spend money. So, money saving see.

BAck from the doctors with some antibiotics. She was useless and just said come back if it doesn't go away. Hello? I've had it a week now!!! *sigh* at least I've got something. Ste took me down this morning but has now gone to work because his boss is a t**t and would have a hissy fit if Ste didn't go in even though I'm going to struggle and be in pain trying to look after the girls by myself. I asked the dr what I could take as paracetomol doesn't work on me and all she said was not to take anything stronger.. great... wonder where she got her degree... house of pain??

Oh yes my confession....Well... click here
WHY :wall: DO :wall: I :wall: DO :wall: SUCH :wall: STUPID :wall: THINGS!

On the funny side although I've clicked buy it now and confirmed I've not actually paid for it yet as when I tried to use my barclaycard I found out that I didn't have enough available credit because barclaycard/my bank c*cked up my DD and some 'computer says noooo' eejit decided to stick a £12 late payment charge on. Luckily they've removed the charge after venting my hurty kidneys at some poor indian call centre woman yesterday and I've paid my bill via ye olde bank giro slip today but I should have enough available credit to complete the sale in the next couple of days. Have also sorted out my DD so this won't happen again.

As for my moment of weakness I just felt soooo down yesterday I wanted to cheer myself up. Funnily enough I'm really excited but also mentally banging my head against a brick wall for my selfish and totally non MSE/DFW hissy fit God damn buy it now buttons!

Would you be banging your head against a wall if it were something ste wanted so desperately? Would you call ste selfish / non dfw for wanting something so badly and treating himself? No, you would have clicked the buy it now for him and would be delighted about it. Enjoy your bass, I don't see musical instruments as anything other than essential. You may as well remove my oxygen than take my kit away, and my kit was horribly expensive (actually all 3 were... um in total we have about £40,000 worth of drum kits in this house) feel better now?

Well, I know I tried to talk you out of it, but only because i thought you would feel bad for buying it......but ohhhh......it's pink....and pretty..... :)

You deserve it, and here's a thought......could you use it to help teach your little childmindees about music and instruments? And would that then make it tax deductable?????? :D
