What is this doing on Page 5???????????????????? Either DFW has been really busy or I've been slacking! :rotfl: ;)

Anyway, MORNING! I'm so far having an 'ish' kind of day.... a goodish day and a badish day...

Goodish things that have happened so far today
K slept from 10.30 til 7 this morning (except for waking up briefly at 4)
It's raining which means I won't be melting and feeling ill from the heat
I got my £10 pigsback voucher in the post this morning :T
I got my egg card in the post this morning :T
Have balance transferred £475 from Citi to the egg card... :T
Managed to get a Dr's appointment for tomorrow morning (see badish things)

Badish things that have happened so far today
Egg wouldn't up my credit limit
K had a letter this morning saying her jabs are next weds...
There's a big pile of washing up left from last night that I have to do
No one from freecycles has a bass to offer me :(
I've had a water infection for about a week despite taking over the counter stuff and I think it's now turning into a kidney infection as it feels like I've been beaten in the kidneys with a sledgehammer :(

*rolls eyes* Like I said, an 'ish' day. ;)
On the bright side it's thursday, nearly the weekend and the citi card statement is going to be very pretty when it comes in :) Hurray for 0% balance transfers!

Morning IA - ouch, the kidney infection sounds painful. Glad you've managed to get a doctors appointment some time this decade though.

Well done K for sleeping so well :T :A :j

Don't you like the hot weather? I like it but I think I'm allergic to the sun because I break out in a really uncomfortable rash after just a few minutes of being out in it. I hate being too warm in bed at night though - I have a little water spray bottle next to the bed, and I spray it on my feet if I get too hot - don't know where I got the idea from but it works!

Hope your feeling better soon but as Mrs S says, well done for getting in to Dr's this year

    Have you tried cranberry juice?

My DD also plays guitar and I am kicking myself for giving her old acustic away a few weeks ago (sowwy)

Gotta go now :(:( will be back dribbling and crying soon :(:(

I'm rubbish with hot weather.. I feel really lethargic and yukky.. funnily enough I lived in Florida for 6 years but that heat didn't bother me!

Have you ever tried that magicool stuff? It's brilliant!

I know! Can't wait til the citi statement comes and gives us the true figure!
I can't drink cranberry juice... Ste got me this over the counter drink stuff which was cranberry flavoured and I felt sick each time I drank it! Apparently the Dr's had a cancellation tomorrow which is why I could get in so soon... :)
Feel awful though.... got a really horrible ache and feel like I need the loo every 5 seconds..... nice!

I think if it's hot all the time, you adjust to it, but over here it's either freezing or scorching so you never properly adjust to the temperature. I haven't tried magicool, but I've tried a cheapo version that I found in Matalan once, and that was good - can't remember the name of it now :(
