  • Yep totally. The worry about cot death if they sleep on their fronts etc is only if they are PUT on their fronts. If they get there themselves it won't be a problem as they'll have made themselves comfy and can't get back on their backs if not.

Sorry to butt in but although with him being 6 months, yes you can relax a little bit but not totally. The reason you don't put them on their front is because they are very comfortable on their fronts and therefore go into a deeper sleep and if they did stop breathing they are unable to waken themselves up (hence cot death) whereas on their backs they are more than likely to waken if they do stop breathing.
Obviously dont get paranoid about it Lenny, all my kids slept on their fronts, just be aware of the risk.

This is the advice from the FSID website:

My baby keeps rolling onto the front. What should I do?

If your baby is less than six months old and you find him sleeping on his tummy, gently turn him onto his back. Don’t feel you need to keep getting up all night to check on this. After six months, babies can usually roll onto their backs themselves, so leave him to find his own position. Whatever your babies age, always place them to sleep on the back.

Does the guitar from the lady in Freecycle belong to her or her husband?

Could you borrow it on a temporary basis for a month or three?
It sounds like it's never used but they don't want to part with it permanently.

    IA,

Would you like me to post a wanted msg on our local freecycle for the guitar? If you tell me what you're looking for, I'll gladly do it for you. Might be worth a try?

I'll also ask around my friends etc. My bro has a guitar but couldn't tell you want it is!! lol

    xx

Aww thanks you guys... I would really appreciate that. Literally all I want is something that I can play, 4 or 5 sting, electric or acoustic, old or new, stringed or not... as long as it's full size and not short scale I'm really not fussy because everything else can be worked on... I just want to be able to play!

Do you want me to ask too? You wouldn't be able to get it until the Blackpool weekend, but if there's no success with the others posts I'll have a go :)
