IA - a right !!!!!! about the Ebay buyer - definitely pulling a fast one methinks! Did you offer the option of recorded delivery? If so, then I would have thought you'd a much better chance with PayPal siding with you if he chose not to have it sent recorded etc.Total Debt 13th Sept 2006 (exc student loan): £6240.06

Very good point - worth phoning sorting office and asking - worth also telling the buyer you are chasing it up with his local sorting office and police..... see if you can rattle his cage.... you have his address, if it was delivered he knows it was and if he does this regularly he may not want to many phone calls to his local sorting office.... so it may turn up -0 -

I don't want to be a harbinger of doom, and I do hope it doesn't come to that, but if you've just got certificate of posting, the maximum you can claim back from the post office is £34.
Don't refund him yourself, do it all through paypal, email him and tell him you've contacted his local sorting office, and they are speaking to his regular postie, sometimes that works wonders, and the parcel will mysteriously "turn up" the next day!
Good luck with it Sar"Transported to a surreal landscape, a young girl kills the first woman she meets and then teams up with three complete stangers to kill again."-- TV listing for the movie, The Wizard of Oz,0 -
I've left a message saying that in the meantime I'll be chasing it up with his sorting office and letting the police know in case it needs investigating.. we'll see what happens..Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043

With regards paypal, he wouldn't even be able to make a claim until its gone10 days since he bought it and then they give you about another 10 days to sort it out, so its really odd that your account is showing a minus already. Has he bought anything else on ebay that you can contact those sellers to see if hes also tried it on with them?
I think I would post on the ebay board for advice.
