From my experience the buyer does not get the money back UNLESS there is funds in the PAYPAL account. so though it might be showing a minus balance then the swindler should not get the money as your balance was 0 at the time.
It is one of those loopholes as I found out from being on the opposite side to you.
DONT TRANSFER THE MONEY TO PAYPAL!!!!!
Let it be the long drawn out paypal way. and if he tries to email you with out going through them, tell him to email you through the dispute center. Sounds to me like he wants the game for free, or want to sell it on and make twice the profit0 -

My health declaration form has been sent off and my fire blanket is up and mounted to the side of the cupboardStill working on floor plans etc and need to do thorough risk assessments of the house and garden as well as paying my ofsted registration fee and blitzing the house decluttering and tidying... I REALLY NEED A PRINTER to be able to print all this stuff out!!!! Hopefully freecycle will come good otherwise I've no idea what I'm going to do!!!!!
