Hi IA
hope the dress fetches you lots of money. have read your thread and wanted to say well done on all your achievements. good luck with barclaycard debtTH0 -
okay, i've put it in the washing machine:eek: i put it in a duvet cover, as it's got beads on it, and i've washed it on the wool cycle. i want to keep it, so i'm planning on geeting a nice storage box and putting it in that. only trouble is, i don't have lots of money and don't know where to get one from. i'll have a look on ebay. i could ask on freecycle. what do other people think? i be there's a website that sells these things, but it wouldn't be cheap0

i've just looked on ebay and all suitable boxes start from £22.00:eek: that's including postage, but it's still too expensive for me at the moment. they're all being sold by companies as well so it's the same as buying it from a shop or shop website. i know you can buy storage boxes in places like next and asda, but i still think i'd pay the same sort of price. i think my best bet is to keep looking for a second hand box, or buy one in the july sales0

Afternoon all. Posted the ebay stuff so that's another job done.
Feeling a bit down though. Went to the nursery I worked at before going on maternity leave to grab my wage slips and say Hi. As of today I'm officially unemployed for the first time since I start work. I'm really sad about it actually because I loved my job and it's only because my boss screwed everything over than my career is officially stuffed before it's even started properly. I'm going to miss the kids the most. There really is nothing as rewarding as being a nursery assistant when you follow the kids from babyhood to leaving to start school and I'll admit that I had a bit of a cry when we left. I didn't want to leave. I just didn't have a choice because of my boss wanting to reduce my hours and then kindly telling me that they couldn't have the girls after everything was sorted.
So here I am. Unemployed and officially a 'housewife'. Don't get me wrong I'm not rubbishing housewives or anything I just never imagined I'd be one at the age of 21 with a half started career. *sigh*

most of the stains came out. how should i dry it? i don't want to hang it on the line, and i'm wary of tumble-drying it. at the moment i've just hung it up on the curtain rail0 -

I'll swap you - I'll be a housewife if you do 6 exams in 3 languages in 6 days? Deal? :rotfl:
I know it sounds pants, but some people would kill to be able to stay home and see their little ones grow up, and I remember having a fab time with my mum who was a housewife until my little brother went to school - they will definitely benefit from it, it's a really special time2007 Bronze Olympic Challenge: Total £1057.34 :jDFW Nerd 269: Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts0 -

Awww hun..... sorry you blue. Least you're still young enough to pick up with your career where you left off. It does sound a lovely job, (not sure I could do it tho!) and you're so good with kids etc you'll find another position no worries when the time is right for you xx"Nobody made a greater mistake than he who did nothing because he could only do a little." i became a 'housewife' at 16 when my ds was born and im still one at the age of 30.
again not finacially viable for me to work
enjoy it!!
unless you have any more just think you will only be 37 when k will be 16
i have loved being a gym slip mum
i have always joked as i will only be 34 when my youngest is 16 they are having their suitcases packed for their 16th birthdays
i'm not going to be the one that tells them that i want them to stay at home forever0
