i had just been really ill when i got married and wasn't probably eating properly as oh was on leave from bosnia at the time we married and i lost a lot of weight so my dress was tiny compared to my now size 14 frame i dont even have having kids as an excuse for weight gain as i had had them before getting married lol
the sight of my tiny dress is depressing

Thanks IA - that makes me feel a bit better!

I don't know why it happened because I was careful to follow the washing instructions. OH thinks it's because they are old - I have had them for about 10 years and it's the first time I've washed them. Ugh! That's disgusting isn't it?! In my defence I wash all my other curtains at least once a year!

Hi IA, just been catching up with your diary. Great news on your e-bay success - watch out Barclaycard!!!
On the subject of wedding dresses, I was totally unsentimental about mine, stored it in the garage for 2 years and then chucked it heartlessly in the bin!!!
(My marriage is fine by the way!!)
I decided I wouldn't be needing it again and it had mud all over the bottom of it (countryside wedding in November!). I think the photos are the most important, after all, how often are you really going to get your wedding dress out and wear it? You're not Miss Havisham!
Hope you get loads of money for it!

    Hey IA!
Good news! The dining room set and computer chair have sold as 'buy it nows' YEAH! And they've paid-I also got a new petrol cap and the guy just happened to live round the corner AND dropped it off! HOw nice it that? So all and all and good eBay experience today.

I am getting rid of my computer and as I told Snag, we'll probably give it to the inlaws. They are super good to us (free babysitting LOADS) so it's the least we can do. I had it free from Virgin as an incentive prize for my sales (yeah, I am a superstar! lol) so we won't be losing money and at least I can use it still and we can just keep the photos etc stored on it. (Although Scott's Dad is a nightmare and loses things on his all the time!)

I will have a look at the site you suggested later,

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker I've been Money Tipped!
good morning. i phoned bt yesterday to check how much the bill is up to now, and it was over £70.00 in call charges:eek: plus there will be broadband and line rental fees. the bill arrives in a week. so i'm going to try to save some money by not going into town as i don't really need anything and would spend £3.00 on bus fares. on the plus side, my supervisor phoned and asked me to do some overtime tomorrow, so that's extra money.
the phone bill's not normally that high; i think it's because i've been doing all the puzzles in magazines so i'm going to text the, post them, or stop sending them in. i'm also going to check my bill properly.
i've just had a look at my wedding dress and it says dry clean only, but it's got johnson's dry cleaners logo on the back and their phone number, so i don't know if it's just an advertising ploy. what do other people think?
