Last time I went to Shropshire, I cried every inch of the way there and back :o

We had adopted a dog from a farm, got him home but had to take him back the next day - he hated our cats

    That is so sad!
What kind of dog was it?
WE're thinking of getting one in July/Aug time...I'd like a Greyhound.

He was a Great Dane, we already have one and he was going to be her friend.

He'd never lived in a house, cocked his leg on me vacuum cleaner and thought our cats were dinner.

I had to get my DH to drop me round the corner, and he took him back, I was heartbroken.

Oh I'd love a dog too but we haven't got enough room in the house for one. I had a gorgeous yellow labrador from age 6 to about age 18, I loved that dog, she was so sweet and gentle, loved kids and would do anything for a biscuit!
