ah, that must have been heartbreaking...

It was, but that was pre LBM.

Knowing what I know now, we couldnt have managed financially with 2 Great Danes in the house.

We would be able to pay our debts off so much quicker if we didnt have the one we've got, but she's going nowhere :D
Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches
Loves being a Wonderbra friend :kisses3:

    Oh IA!!!!

I am mortified, gutted and frankly, embarassed that the freezer has let you down.:o

    I'm so sorry hunny x x x x x

Aww don't be hun!! the fact is you were kind enough to offer a complete stranger something in their time of need and we are so so SO grateful for everything you've done for us! You never know it couldn't have something gone wrong with it in our car on the way back that caused it to not work properly so please don't feel bad!
I may have killed your freezer but I gained a friend (At least I like to think so anyway!)....

Don't worry about it... you talked your DH into getting the time off to come on my birthday booze up yet? :rotfl:

and do you double check if Ste has taken the money that day, eg my bank shows transactions out of cash machine for that day. Very useful for b*ll*cking my husband about using fee charging machines  ;) .

Hard to think what's happening without knowing figures, how much are yu working out being out by?

Don't know realy. I do check everything that goes in and out of the account on a daily basis.. (I'm kind of obsessive like that  ) and whenever I check how much we've got left and divide by the number of days left the daily amount seems to change everytime I do it. What it is at the start of the month is normally a good couple quid more than what I work out at the end!

Right have done 'the maths' with everything taken into account... ebay money, new freezer, postage for cd player, tc and child benefit AND.....
    *drum roll please..................*

We will still be able to pay off dotty p's... JUST. Think we'll have about a tenner spare. Even with all the disasters this month we've been lucky enough to have the things like ebay sales, extra maternity pay etc so in a way I'm glad all this happened this month when we've had a bit extra to be able to deal with it.

Only have £33 left in our main bank though to last til a week tomorrow... BUT we go out the cradle money today so that we know we've got it and Ste got out enough so it should last him the whole week (bar any more disasters... I'm not counting my chickens yet!!) so in theory that £33 shouldn't need to be touched apart from the house insurance going out but that's only £4.47.
But scary having £30 in the bank though...

So.. looking forward to paying off dotty p's as soon as the ebay money has cleared which should be friday. :)

Are you aware of exactly how much your DD and SO are, eg my phone bill varies monthly. I set up a spreadsheet with my bills on and copy them into another column, then as they go out I delete them in the 2nd column. That way I am left knowing what bills are still to come out and if it will be exactly that amount eg mortgage is a fixed amount or a 'flexible' amount like the phone bill. The only other thing I can think of is if you are incurring cash machine charges and not noticing.

Well I normally put an estimate of our bt bill and mobiles at the start of the month but they do normally come in at less but other than that everything else is set. I would notice any extra charges as like I say I check everything that goes in and out daily....

When you did your workings out at £8.83 were you taking into account the cradle money?
