Just a bit of info re tax credits - I phoned them last week to tell them about Andys change of salary, phoned back 2 days later to see if they had updated it and what our new payment would be and they said that there wont be any changes to the amount we get until we receive our renewal pack (in about 4-6 weeks) then we have to tell them the new salary etc then we will be issued with a new award.
Hope this makes sense.0 -

Typical isn't it? Have been playing around with our car insurance on quidco and with prudential we could get exactly the same level of cover for the same price but with £100 cashback.... Great! I hear you say... Well yes in theory... Our car insurance would go down by £1 a month (lol) and we'd get £100 cashback... BUT.... we'd have to pay £73 deposit which we don't have...

. I shall have to wait for the likes of barnaby bear to turn up to tell you if it is worth borrowing £73 out of Dotty Ps money to make £27 on a car insurance that isn't due yet, or not.

That one's too complicated for me

lol I know.. I think the plan is to save up to buy my car insurance outright come october through quidco as by then I'll have 4 yrs no claims and it'll be even cheaper with cashback ad saving us money going out every month! Want to do the same with the house insurance too but can't find anywhere cheaper than who we're with now!Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043
