What lovely posts- they've made 'me' think about wonderful memories in the houses I've lived in - mainly at my parents house and in my lovely flat but also the student residences. Every new place I started in was a bit weird at first but then it filled with my life and felt like home. It makes me think of my favourite phrase from the 'Wizard of Oz' - there's no place like home! Can't wait til those red shoes take you to your new place!

What a lovely set of posts to come back to. Well done FF for being debt free - what a fab fab piece of news :j

And maty, yes - that is the whole reason we are trying to push this house move through before Christmas - to go into the new year with a truly fresh start.....leaving the crap behind, and taking only the good things, physical, and emotional with us.

The theatre was great - I've not seen chess before, although I knew a few of the songs, so it was a lovely evening spent with DD, and we have vowed to do it again before too long.

Now am cold - so just boiled the kettle for a hot water bottle, will have a few mins on here and fb and then off to bed.

good night all you lovely peeps xxx

Morning all - TFI Friday :j It has been a loooong week - for so many reasons! Still, we have reached the end of it, and survived, so all is well!

Tonight I am off to see Squeeze and the Lightning Seeds with a couple of girlfriends - they bought me the ticket for my birthday - then we are having a proper girlie sleepover and after breakfast tomorrow will head off to do some girlie Christmas shopping, so a nice weekend ahead.

Then I will be doing business with the skip :D

have a good one - stay warm!

    Congratulations Flying! :T

Just a thought Hypno, although I'm sure you've thought of it - you have updated your will with the new house and changes right?
