Well done to FF for being debt-free at last, what a lovely Christmas present!
And well done Hypno - house move ever closer, "original" debt under 5K, skip on its way ready to chuck all the baggage in......(and I mean emotional as well as the clutter kind)....this Christmas is going to be special in many ways. One life - your life - live it!0 -
I guess it's just an end of an era. So much is changing for you and some massive milestones being reached all within a relatively short space of time. It wouldn't be normal *not* to feel unsettled.
I am total awe at how you have dealt with everything that has come your way over the years. Good luck!Saving for an early retirement!0 -

I *might* let someone give me a hair cut
But I'll have you know I'm not that bad at it myself
(my hair's pretty long, so it's just a case of trimming the ends, I'm not as much of a sight as I made myself out to be! :rotfl:)
I can vouch for that - Cheery's hair is lovelyI measured the bay window for the tree this eveningI checked out the wine storage availability too :rotfl:

The sig is fab H, well done on being sub 5k:):)
The next few weeks will be very emotional, but hopefully you will be able to leave the bad memories behind and pack up the good ones to take with you.

Chocolate storage - Very Important Indeed
I agree with Gallygirl, and I saw you before we looked like drowned rats (Ssh I wont mention the leaning on the lampost in pier street)
Maty - your post caused me to bawl! i had forgotten about locking my Mums door for the last time. I too was alone. We moved there when I was 3, locked the door 2 months after my 44th birthday. The way you describe waking up and realising the memories still there is so poignant.
