with threading, if you can find an asian salon it is usually loads cheaper! Mine is £5 and is in London.... places like John Lewis charge approx £17  and you're in full view of all the shoppers.

No, is actually a very good area! I just need to run somewhere safe with streetlights from time to time - and as I know my way round that area it does the job nicely!

There are *other* places in town that I wouldn't want to walk through.....

Like where my old flat was for instance.... ;-) If you come for a run, and fancy a break... I'll get the kettle on!

Is 'threading' better than waxing, which I find incredibly painful - wimp that I am!

That's a bit like asking whether it's better to amputate your leg with a plastic fork or a rusty spoon...it's not going to be pretty either way... :rotfl:

I find the more often you are waxed the less it hurts. I am told it weakens the root eventually.

I find threading can be more precise so I get a better shape.....at the end of the day, though, I guess it is down to how good the person is who is doing it, in which case it won't really matter!

I have been to the new house this evening and had a good old mosey around - DD is babysitting there, so the lady who lives there was happy for me to go and check out cupboards, curtains etc. Can't wait to move!

Have a headache, though - so once I have eaten, I may grab an early night.

    Or not :rotfl:
