The weather over there must be bad in parts, it actually made it onto the news over here last night. A very rare occurence to hear anything about anywhere other than nz or aussie!
Hope that it eases up for the weekend for you all. Just think of it as a way of having a store cupboard challenge and therefore saving money.

Very jealous of you going to see Human League, tell them they need to come down here!!!!!

Had a great evening - the roads were terrible, especially coming home, which kept some people away, so not as big a crowd as you would normally get there. Still, that didn't spoil it! Was nice to get out!

Pleased to hear you had a good time.
We'd had a few days of odd bits of snow that melted, but it landed last night, OH took 2 hours to get home in the car rather than 30 - 45 mins. He's trying the tram & trains this morning, hopefully will be quicker as it looks worse out the window. He's already gone to work as got early meetings.
Got to drive back to England tomorrow. Fortunately we've got a stop en route wed, so no rush which will help.
Hope everyone has a good day, despite the snow problems.0 -
Brrr.....it is rather cold! A friend of mine went to Kenya last night.....am not jealous at all of anyone escaping the freezing conditions here :o:rotfl:

OH is having to try the car after all, a van driver stopped to tell him the trams weren't running after an accident.
In the UK we know where we want to try to get to, but not booked accom, as with the weather don't really know where it will be safe to try to get to.0 -

Morning - a bit of snow here - no option but to drive to work as I work in a village school well off the main road.
Whilst DS was shopping yesterday and the car was hit in the car park - £700 to have it repaired. The #@#@ who hit it didn't leave a note or anything and as it was the passenger side we don;t know which car park it was hit in either as DS had been to several different places .:eek::mad:
Today can only be better !!!
Glad the concert was good last night - whereabouts did you go?
