We've had a foot overnight. Snowfall/avalanche off the roof has made it level with our windows. Seriously, had enough now. Local town on the news (Alnwick) OH not made it into work and I've been housebound since Thursday.............and breathe

Yeah, but the sun is out again, so it'll slump again. The problem with the snow/thaw cycle is the snow gradually becomes more and more dense and harder to drive through. Fine if you're sitting on top of flat snow - not so good when you have to smack your way through a drift, or a ridge of swept snow.

Well on the photos I took, between taking them, the bloke on the left swept the snow away down to the tarmac.

Bet he's glad he wasted his time....

The weather reports are now just complete fiction - they've got no idea what's going on.

I have seen snowfall almost level with the upper windows - but that was a long time ago...

Can't believe how rought the weather is for so many of you - especially Lucielle.

All we've had here is the smallest showering of what somebody else names 'icing sugar snow'.

Hope you all manage to keep safe, well and warm, and that Hypno gets to her gig and enjoys it.

    Keep safe. x
