That was amazingly fast! Some of my carp in my loft *was* insulation, truly, and its now been laid in *this* one, properly :D but even that took me 3 goes to get it down from the loft, and that was with throwing loads down and then climbing down after it,not being careful at all .... you've done so well today!

School shoes and cough medicine bought, and another trip to the tip done. Am just going to re-bag some linen that needs to be kept (lots more has been put in the charity shop pile) and wait for XOH to come over to collect what is his.

Absolutely shattered though! When XOH has gone, it will be collapse on the sofa time I think for the rest of the evening - the ironing will have to wait until tomorrow evening.

    Hi Hypno
Well done on clearing the loft:T shame debts can't be cleared as quickly lol!
We only have a small loft as we had it converted many years ago,but what space there is is full of my daughters old uni books etc but i expect there are a few boxes of rubbish.
We also have a time capsule in there which we did last year( i think) which we can open 2029 with allsorts of bit's in it including letters which we all wrote.
The good news is that when we open the capsule I should be debt free:jthe bad new is that i will be nearly 70:eek:

We do have a cupboard under the stairs that needs a good sort though but will need to buy a hard hat before entering!!!

    souk - lovely thought!

mom23 - glad you made it over! I have to confess that the loft, although quite full, was not as bad as I had feared. It was just a case of get on with it, really. Once I put my mind to something I am fine - I am just rather good at finding other stuff to do first!

Yep, good to get one job fully out of the way, rather than burning yourself out.

I used to fill a box everytime I put clothes away, or folded towels or bedding I rarely used. I didn't seem to notice it as I did a little bit every day, then gave it some welly at the weekend! :D

Enjoy your afternoon - I'm about to iron Everest and K2 _pale_

I was going to do my ironing this evening, but like you, I now feel too shattered. My exhaustion is down to 'helping' DS2 tidy his room!

Yeah i know what you mean about always finding other things to do.
Feel quite :o that my garden furniture (fabric covered) including parasol is still sitting in the yard as is the one in the garden:eek: trouble is it really needs to be dry before i put it away in the over stuffed shed and the weather has been so wet not had chance:D
Well that's my excuse anyway and i am sticking to it.
