Gosh, only 3 or 4 weeks??? No, that isn't very long - even if you weren't working at all! :rotfl: Well done for fitting it all in :T :T
  • Shame the garage is last as that would have been the perfect place to store packed boxes over the next few weeks to save living in chaos.

Well done with the loft, hope the garage also doesn't end up as bad as you thought.

We took down our dining table for the last week or so and piled all the boxes in the dining room, but KM has got a point...
It will be a manic few weeks, but very doable. Exciting times :j

Mine is all in the conservatory, so nicely out of the way, as it isn't generally a room that gets used much in November and December!

Doodles - no gems....apart from 25cents that DD found :rotfl:

  • Oh the conservatory should make for a liveable house then while the chaos ensues... I find clothes are the worst thing to pack, don't know why but I 'get' packing objects then when it comes to the clothes I feel overwhelmed as its never ending! Probably just me lol

For clothes that hang in the wardrobe, I keep them on their hangers and bundle 5 or 6 at a time. Then I make a hole in the bottom of a bin bag and put it over the hangers, then shove them in the bag and tie at the bottom. If it needs extra support, I whacked a load of parcel tape around the top. They can be hung packed and ready in the wardrobe until moving day.
They can then be re-hung and bags snipped off in their new home. Simples!

For clothes in drawers, I tipped each drawer into a box and labelled it with "Middle drawer - essentials/non-essentials/underwear/tops" etc
Sorry if this is blindingly obvious and I'm waffling :o *Off to stop procrastinating and do the pesky ironing*

I'm not too worried about the clothes stuff.....that is all fairly well sorted, and will be easy to move.

I just hope I get a date soon, then I can start sorting and packing the "everyday" stuff and just leave myself with a workable bare minimum.

    Yayyyyyy!!!

Well done for getting so much done :) Just catching up on what I've missed this weekend :)

I could do with sorting the loft and I'm not moving! I *think* there is the christmas tree up there but there are also bats...which makes me very nervous about checking it out...asked my mum to help when she next comes across.
