Right, so I need to make a list or some sort of plan for today - it is one of my few "free" days before Christmas, so I need to make sure it is not wasted:
- make sure all washing up to date
- ditto ironing
- dig step ladder out of the garage
- bring everything down from the loft
- make piles - keep, throw, charity shop, XOH, and keep in conservatory
- buy stacking crates with lids from B&Q to properly store those things I want to keep and move
- dig out paperwork for replacement windows and boiler for solicitor
- buy school shoes for DS
- buy cough mixture for DS.....and sort out medicine box ready to move.

Goodluck Hypno! You can do it! :j :j :j
No strippers I don't thinkAlthough I was up in the rafters so anything could have been going on
Lots of raucous laughter though :rotfl: Haven't ventured downstairs yet though to see what state the place is in  Could have a mission to rival Hypno's this morning  (best not have, still feeling rather ropey!)

Yeah, but what are you going to do during the other 23 hours of the day??;)
Stacking crates first IMHO! and one box at a time would do for me 'cos otherwise I'd freak out at the perceived enormity of the task:rotfl:‘Keep your eye on the donut and not on the hole.’ David Lynch.

Hope all is ok, surfbabe x
I have stopped for a coffee break - and am pleased to report excellent progress is being made. The loft is almost empty, and we have been sorting a lot of stuff as we go - so there are 5 bin bags ready to take to the tip, plus a load for the charity shop already sorted, which I will deliver on Friday when I have a day off work.
Why, though, we had so much crap up there, I really don't know - what is it about keeping boxes and boxes of old study notes??? Ah well, those were easy boxes to clear, sort and recycle!
We do have to go through everything bit by bit though - there are things we have found that we would have hated to throw out, so it really is a long job, but one that will be a job well done by the end of the day!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground.
