Glad that you can get to the football. What a great way to spend birthday money, doing something you love and having time to relax amidst all the ups and downs. Not far to go now, things will all balance in the end.

I would have been able to go to the football itself, because I have a season ticket....but it is the before and after social bit that I would have missed out on, and which I can now look forward to.

  • With all the background stuff going on and a birthday week full of parties, you deserve a very big extra special pat on the back for keeping your weight stable. I hope you are very, very proud of yourself.

Oh I will enjoy it, beanie - they are a great bunch of guys I go with, so always fun, whatever the match result!

I am so glad it is the end of the week - after the ups and downs of the last couple of weeks, I am in need of getting back into a routine - not a dull boring sort of routine, but a "being in control" sort of routine, as there is much that has been neglected/rushed due to being disorganised/tired/busy/stressed.

So, hopefully the end of the week will mark the beginning of getting back on track!

Hope you have all had a good day x

This is EXACTLY how I feel! Just have tonight off and you'll be back to your usual self and be full of gusto for this weekend's events.

Now I'm sitting in my new home all the packing, clearing, sorting and runs to the tip are a distant memory - so not long now ;)

    Have a nice evening x

Thanks, macgirl - it is bound to continue to be a bit iffy for a few weeks, but I just don't want it all to spiral any more than necessary!!
