I thoroughly enjoyed it, KC.....didn't ski my best, but that is to be expected after such a long break, but certainly didn't embarrass myself either. I could have probably done myself a few favours by moving down a group, but in with the "big boys" is where I was before, so I took myself right back there (fear and all).

And I think I had a smile on my face for most of the evening - that said it all really. As I posted on my FB status late last night, I think I got my mojo back :D

I love skiing - so relaxing. As a frieds says: one is so worried they will die any second now that there is no energy left to worry about anything else. Carlos Castaneda in action - he was the one who said 'When you are very worried about something just look over your left shoulder and that is where your Death is. Compared to it anything pales into insignificance.'

My leg is much better, Hypno so it will be fine. It was not deep vein to begin with and now, although it is a bit red still, it hurts much less. Once it is gone (I am meeting my doctor on Monday) I probably will have this vein done - and yes, I have only one and it is making problems.

Have a good day all and speak soon

  • Well done on the weight maintenance I always think the losing weight bit is the (relatively) easy part the hard work starts when you have to maintain it but I am looking forward to that challenge and hope I can follow in your footsteps
