It is the middle week - and thanks to my long run last night I slept really well (for me!) so I am very grateful for that.

I am considering making a return to ski training tonight - although I have been for a casual ski since my fall back in March, I haven't done anything "proper" so this would be a big step for me - I shall see how I feel this evening.....nerve wracking, but I don't want to keep putting it off!

Moneywise, I have spent more than is really good for me this month, with one thing or another, but hey ho - payday is not until Tuesday, so I need to try and make the little that is left stretch as far as it can, Telling myself that I can repay my CC with either my Christmas bonus or when I sell my house is NOT the right answer when I ask myself if I "need" something :o

I hope you all have a good day, wrap up warm!

Hope the ski training goes well, and that you really enjoy it.

Hope you manage to resist the temptation with the CC, it's always more difficult when you see an absolute bargain, my trick was normally to avoid the shops and so minimise the temptation unless I knew it was OK.

Is it your weigh in day today? Hope it goes OK, but you have been partying so lets hope your running burnt it off. Weighed in here this morning, still 9 st 9lbs, it's good that it's not gone up, but I've been really good, so was hoping for better. I wish dieting and weight control was easier :o

I've not done *too* badly with the CC really, but I have had some big expenses which have killed my budgets - such as the first half of DS's training fees for the winter, and search/survey fees for the house move etc. So it was inevitable that some spending would need to go on the CC, but it will be cleared one way or another by Christmas, so it is not the end of the world.

The main thing will be not to use it once I have moved. If I cannot manage on my new budgets once I am debt free, then there really does need to be some butt-kicking taking place! Until then, these "extra" expenses will continue to make an appearance, I guess, and will just need to be dealt with one way or another with as much reasonableness as I can muster.

Yes, it is WI day today - and I don't expect things to be too bad, all things considered. I will report in at lunchtime!

1lb off.....weighing in at 9st 9.5lbs which is half a lb more than I weighed at my lowest in July, so I think I can say that my weight is stable!

So, that is 4 months now where I have been in a range of 3lbs. I think that is probably the longest that I have remained at a steady weight for about 20 years!

So, I am happy with that, and look forward to the continued wearing of my skinny clothes :D
